Hit sitcom The Game returned in explosive fashion this year.
After being axed from The CW, the football dramedy smashed its own prior rating highs when it was revived by BET at the top of 2011.
With this year quickly drawing to an end, the network are gearing up for the hotly anticipated premiere of season 5. So as to whet apetites for the January 2012 kick off, a sizzling new teaser has been released. And from the looks of it, Melanie, Derwin, Tasha, Malik, and co are set to serve up laughs and drama a plenty. R&B diva Brandy also stars!

Hope it goes back to its roots, football instead of clubbing and a reality show type setting. It was alright last season but they took too much away from the characters.

I like the show but the season is TOO SHORT AND SPACED OUT. It’s not a reality show so I wish it would have FULL SITCOM SEASONS. Oh well, I guess short spaced out seasons are better than none. Looking forward to it’s return.
@Anne THE SEASON WILL HAVE 23 FULL EPISODES…IT’S JUST STARTING IN JANUARY INSTEAD OF OCTOBER….SO THAT MEANS THE SEASON WON’T END TIL MAY THIS TIME.
I can’t wait! and last season was only short because they were testing the waters with ratings they signed on for a full season this time. 🙂
Oh my goodness. I can’t wait! Tia said on Wendy Williams, that secrets will be revealed this season, like who told Derwin about Mchottie and we’ll find out whose child she aborted. Also, they’ve brought the comedy back to the show. I’m so excited!
Hopefully Trandy don’t f*** up the show…. she was a bore on Drop Dead Diva and totally out of her league on 90210. SMH

Im so excited for The Game to come…Brandy has really been on her grind lately im so proud of her…and I can’t wait to see how the bring Tamera (Tia’s twin) on the show…that should be interesting….I can’t wait for the season to begin!!!!

Anywho, I’m a big fan of The Game. I really enjoy the show. Last season was really dramatic so I hope they resolve some older plot lines along with the new ones with the new characters they’ll bring in. I’m so glad Brandy’s a part of this, she’s really been on the acting grind.

I am definitely watching season 5!! It look like they spent a little bit more money on production this time around. I hope they can find some way to work Kelli back into the show and PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL BRITTANY!!!
