Led by Uzo Aduba as eccentric detective Cordelia Cupp, the White House-set whodunit made a splash in March, drawing praise and an 85% Rotten Tomatoes score. But even strong buzz couldn’t save it from Netflix’s signature cost-cutting formula. The show’s high production expense, including a seven-stage White House replica, proved too steep for a sophomore season.
Though built as an anthology with Aduba poised to return in a new case, budget talks fizzled. Fans are left mourning what could’ve been another long-running Shondaland gem.
Also on the potential chopping block? Medical drama ‘Pulse’ and dark comedy ‘No Good Deed’ are still hanging in the balance.

The show was canceled due to lack of viewers and that’s primarily due to the high volume of so-called “white” racism in the AmeriKKKLAN society point blank periodt. The thought of any so-called “black” person being highly intellectual capable of taking front and center lead over “white” constituents drives these p** skin colored Neanderthals ballistic.
