‘MianU’, pronounced me and you, marks the star’s debut in the wine industry.
It is billed as a personal tribute to Alexander with “Ian” in the middle. The brand’s message is focused on the belief that it takes two people to form a lasting bond.
The inspiration for ‘MianU’ started with King’s late son introducing her to orange wine, which is made by fermenting white grapes on their skins to give it depth, body, and a amber hue. It’s comprised of 75% Gewürztraminer and 25% Chardonnay.
The actress is also turning ‘MianU’ into a rollout with ‘Me & You’, which is a three-episode series. The series centers on her sharing meals and intimate conversations with friends.
Its first episode is out now and features a sit-down with Robin Roberts.
‘MianU’ is on sale now via its official website.
