T-Pain is back in his candid bag, and his latest sit-down on Club Shay Shay delivered some of his rawest industry insight yet.

Speaking to host Shannon Sharpe, T-Pain didn’t sugarcoat the harsh reality of the music industry, sharing that the one key lesson he has learned is:
“Nobody is your f***ing brother.”
According to the singer/rapper, loyalty in this business is often a myth. He even name-dropped DJ Khaled, with whom he collaborated on the huge 2010 hit ‘All I Do Is Win,’ as someone who once flashed the “brother” card but said the betrayal runs much deeper than that, he told Sharpe:
“F*ck DJ Khaled and everybody that dun told me ‘I’m your brother.’ Do not believe that sh*t.”
T-Pain didn’t stop there; his point wasn’t just to Khaled, it was universal, saying that:
“Everybody is your brother while they can use you.”
