The UK’s biggest celebration of musical excellence has unveiled its 2026 Mercury Prize shortlist, and RAYE, Olivia Dean and JADE are among the stars receiving major recognition.

RAYE earns a coveted nomination for acclaimed album ‘THIS MAY CONTAIN HOPE.,’ continuing her incredible rise following her history-making debut era. Meanwhile, Dean is in the running with ‘The Art of Loving,’ a project that has cemented her as one of Britain’s most exciting voices.
Adding to the pop girl power, JADE scores her first Mercury Prize nod with ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!,’ marking a standout moment in her solo journey after stepping beyond her girl group roots.
The trio will compete alongside the likes of Dave, Florence + The Machine, Nia Archives, Kojey Radical and Paul McCartney, with the winner set to be announced at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on October 22.
