Hot on the heels of his surprise return to the stage in Miami, a new report claims the Pop performer is plotting a fresh album and an accompanying world tour for 2027.
And both are said to be housed under the fitting banner ‘The Next Move.’
Full story below…
According to Showbiz411, sources claim Timberlake is beginning to assemble what is being billed as one of his most ambitious projects yet, with the tour reportedly eyeing a March 2027 launch.
Should it materialize, the album would serve as the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Everything I Thought It Was’.
While that LP delivered a comparatively muted commercial run, its accompanying ‘Forget Tomorrow World Tour’ proved a much bigger draw, shifting more than one million tickets before being extended.
A return to full-scale touring would also carry added significance following Timberlake’s Lyme disease diagnosis. At the time, the 45-year-old revealed the condition had caused significant pain and fatigue while performing and admitted he was unsure what his future onstage would look like.
Now, signs increasingly point toward another chapter.
Questions naturally remain, including whether longtime collaborator Timbaland could be involved and whether NSYNC might factor into the plans.
For now, however, neither Timberlake nor his representatives have formally announced ‘The Next Move.’
Should the report prove accurate, 2027 could be shaping up to be a major comeback year for JT.
