The Black Music Action Coalition is set to celebrate some major names in Black music at its upcoming 2026 Gala.
The sixth annual event will honor Common, Patti LaBelle, and Public Enemy for their lasting contributions to music and culture.

Common will receive the BMAC Harry Belafonte Change Agent Award, while legendary songstress LaBelle is being celebrated with the BMAC Icon Award. Hip-hop pioneers Public Enemy will take home the BMAC Social Impact Award.
The star-studded evening will also see the debut of the Sylvia Rhone Visionary Award, recognizing leaders whose influence and dedication have helped create new opportunities throughout the music industry.
Hosted by radio personality Kenny Burns, the gala takes place September 24 in Beverly Hills.
