Closing arguments concluded on Tuesday evening. Now, the jury will consider five charges.
Specifically, the charges include conspiracy to commit stalking, stalking using a dangerous weapon, stalking resulting in death, conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in a murder-for-hire resulting in death, and using interstate commerce facilities in a murder-for-hire resulting in death.
Deliberations begin at 8:30 a.m. PST in Los Angeles. How long they will last remains unpredictable and could range from hours to days.
The trial has spanned several weeks. Prosecutors called OTF Jam, OTF Vonni, and Flacka as key witnesses. They alleged Durk orchestrated the murder-for-hire plot against Quando Rondo. The shooting killed Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab.
Jam, Vonni, and Flacka have pleaded guilty and testified as part of their respective deals. Durk did not testify.
Durk could also face another trial. Prosecutors brought racketeering charges in a superseding indictment, but the judge ruled they could not be used in this trial.
