Rick Ross is breaking his silence following his arrest in Miami on battery charges.
The Rap Mogul was taken into custody Thursday (October 1) after turning himself in to authorities. Ross has pleaded not guilty and has taken to the internet to clear his name.

As reported, the rapper faces one felony count of battery by strangulation and one misdemeanour battery charge, with both listed as domestic violence-related.
The arrest comes days after his former girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick publicly accused him of physical abuse. However, authorities have not confirmed whether her allegations are connected to the charges.
Now addressing the situation in a video, Ross repeatedly maintained his innocence, saying:
“First and foremost, I am totally innocent of the fabricated allegations made against myself,”
Adding that he is confident his legal team will see the allegations “laid to rest.”
Despite the legal drama, Ross appeared focused on business and music. He revealed plans to travel to Dubai and Paris before returning home for a plate of rigatoni with “heavy marinara.”

Ross is currently scheduled to be arraigned on October 22.
