A year after Cardi B slammed political commentator and television personality, Tomi Lahren,’ and threatened to “dog walk” her for her controversial views on 21 Savage‘s U.S. citizenship status (click here to read), the two are at war again – this time over insensitive remarks Lahren made regarding the Minneapolis riots stemming from the death of George Floyd (click here to read).
The police officers responsible for the man’s death are still free and uncharged and, as a result, citizens have taken to the streets via protests and riots to demand justice.
Taking to Twitter Thursday (May 28), Lahren reprimanded the ‘Twin City’ residents for their handling of the subject matter and condemned them for reports of looting. Her comments landed on the desk of Cardi, who rebutted with fiery remarks of her own.

As we reported here, African American Harvard graduate and former Marvel editor Christian Cooper is calling for a ‘cease-fire’ of sorts against Amy Cooper – a White woman who called the police to falsely report he had threatened her in Central Park after he asked her to obey city orders to leash her dog on the public property.
Inciting conversations about racial privilege in the process, Christian – during a media blitz that’s seen him converse with the nation’s top TV and print outlets – argues some people have taken their defense tactics to the extreme by wishing death on the woman (who has already lost her job as a result of the backlash).
After empathizing with her predicament on CNN earlier this week, Christian and his sister Melody took to Thursday’s episode of ‘The View’ (May 28) to reiterate the empathized stance. This time, going on record to say he accepts Amy’s apology for their May 25 altercation.

The pervasiveness of racism has been spotlighted once again in Minnesota.
For, just days after the shocking death of George Floyd at the hands of a white police official ignited discourse about the Black experience in the US, another shocking clip has gone viral.
In jaw-dropping scenes, Tom Austin, the managing partner of F2, is filmed telling Black men that he would call police on them.
His reason? He didn’t believe they they had access to the business building they were in.
This despite being told several times by the young entrepreneurs that they too occupied the space as tenants for their social media company – Team Top Figure.
