Mark those calendars because ‘The Real Housewives of Lagos’ will be strutting onto screens in a mere matter of days.

As reported, Nigeria is the latest region to join the increasingly international Housewives franchise – and the ladies of Naija are bringing the heat.

Premiering this Friday (April 8) on Showmax, the series follows the opulent lives of six glamorous Lagosians.

Naturally, fashion, luxury, entrepreneurial moves, and of course drama power the production – which promises to deliver all that the Housewives brand has become synonymous with and then some.

The fallout from Will Smith‘s dramatic Oscar night – which saw him slap Chris Rock – has divided opinion.

Some sects have lambasted the Best Actor winner and called for sanctions, while others have rallied behind the Hollywood titan, reprimanded him with love, and encouraged understanding. Especially in light of him defending his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, who was at the center of a jab by Rock about her bald ‘do (which was caused by alopecia).

The legendary Denzel Washington has stood up as part of the latter.

In breaking news, Will Smith has resigned from the Academy after the slap seen across the world at the Oscars.

As widely reported, the superstar – who took home the Best Actor honor – charged to the stage and slapped  Chris Rock on the live broadcast after the comedian made a joke about wife Jada Pinkett’s appearance. It’s of note that the actress has been vocal about her struggles with alopecia.

Now, amidst a looming investigation carried out by the Academy, Smith has decided to resign of his own volition.

‘Atlanta’ has made its long-awaited return to FX with its third season.

Since its debut, the show has followed cousins – played by Donald Glover and Brian Tyree Henry – as they navigate through the Atlanta music scene in a bid to better their lives and that of their families. Also central to the narrative are Darius (LaKeith Stanfield) and Van (Zazie Beetz).

On this outing, which arrives ahead of the confirmed fourth and final season, the ATL action shifts to Amsterdam for an adventure like never before.

That Grape Juice was on hand at the ‘Atlanta’ season 3 premiere in Hollywood and caught up with anchors Donald Glover, LaKeith Stanfield, Brian Tyree Henry, and Zazie Beetz.

Chopping it up with TGJ’s Shar Jossell, the cast opened up about what folk can expect from the season at large.
