Wendy Williams has built a colossal career on being candid and she’s not backtracking now that her own personal life is in the spotlight.

Currently on the cusp of the 11th season of her hit talkshow, the media maven stopped by Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live to chop it up with host Andy Cohen.

With both being straight shooters, the show made for great TV.

Williams was quizzed on a laundry list of topics including her divorce, the woman ex husband cheated with, her new life on the singles market, her upcoming biopic, repairing damaged relationships, and more. All of which she addressed head-on.

Ava DuVernay‘s ‘When They See Us’ took viewers on an emotional roller coaster upon its release back in May.

The four-part Netflix production told the true story of the Central Park Five, a group of young Black and Latino youth wrong accused, convicted, and imprisoned for a sexual assault crime they did not commit.

And while they were eventually vindicated, it’s been projects such as ‘When They See Us’ that is giving their innocence the volume it so very much deserves.

The Emmy committee clearly agree, for they rewarded the special with 11 nominations.

Ahead of the September 22nd ceremony, Jharrel Jerome (whose portrayal of Korey Wise earned him a nom for Outstanding Lead Actor), stopped by Hot 97 to discuss the impact of the series.

Malik Yoba has been the center of many-a-hot-debate over the week since speaking out about his attraction to all women, including transgendered women (click here to read).

While fielding some criticism and homophobic jokes, the overwhelming commentary around Yoba’s admission has been positive as he was applauded for his bravery – especially as a man of color – for making such an announcement.  However, just days after the ‘New York Undercover’ star’s confession, a Facebook post made by a transgender woman named Mariah Lopez Ebony went viral after she alleged the now-51-year-old actor paid to have sex with her 20 years ago.

The issue?  She was only 13-years-old at the time. Details below:

Wendy Williams has never been one to hold her tongue. And while her marital woes initially saw her skew coy, she’s now speaking up and out.

The talkshow host stopped by The View today and didn’t hold back questioned about her divorce from husband Kevin Hunter.

Clearly emotional, a teary-eyed Wendy opened up about the difficulties attached to ending her 25-year union with her husband – but also the necessity for her to.

As widely reported, Hunter maintained a relationship with another woman and eventually impregnated her.

Speaking candidly with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and co, she said “I don’t want to be changing pampers, I want to be pampered!”

She also didn’t shy away from questions surrounding her addiction and recent stay in a sober house.

Kevin Hart may be expected to make a full recovery from the slew of physical injuries obtained after being involved in a major car crash last weekend (click here to read), his reputation on the other hand – namely among LGBT fans – may not be so fortunate.

The comedian certainly wasn’t generating any laughs when he took to HBO Sports’ series, ‘The Shop: Uninterrupted,’ alongside a star-studded group of guests that included chart-topping rapper/singer Lil Nas X.  In the episode – set to air in full Thursday night (September 5) – LNX discusses what inspired him to come out as a gay man at the height of his short, but storied career.

Hart’s insensitive questioning, interruptions during the 20-year-old’s speech, and downplaying the importance of the ‘Old Town Road’ star’s life event has incited fury among his supporters.  Taking to Twitter in droves to voice their disapproval, look inside to see highlights of the responses:
