Tinashe is back with new music.
However, this time, the singer put her own spin on Chaka Khan‘s classic ‘I’m Every Woman.’
First made popular by Khan on her debut album ‘Chaka’ in 1978, the song was later popularized by Whitney Houston in the ’90s as part of ‘The Bodyguard’ soundtrack.
Now, Tinashe is taking the reigns and makes it her own by incorporating funk and disco alongside house beats.
The updated version of ‘I’m Every Woman’ is part of ESPN‘s second installment of their ‘Music For The Movement’ series.

After thrilling fans with a duo of EPs last year, ‘While You Wait’ and ‘Worth the Wait,’ 5-time GRAMMY nominee Tank is keeping the new music rolling.
His newest single, ‘Can’t Let It Show,’ showed up on streaming services Friday (February 26) – much to fan delight. Featuring a prominent of Kate Bush‘s 1988 hit, ‘This Woman’s Work’ (which was re-popularized nearly a decade later by Maxwell), ‘Can’t Let It Show’ houses lyrical structure similar to that of Tank’s biggest hit yet – 2007’s ‘Please Don’t Go.’
Reminiscing on a love-gone-wrong, the crooner reflects:
“How did I lose you? (How did I lose you?) / How did I blow that? How can we go back? / Why did I not choose you? Oh-oh / Instead of a good time I wasted your good time,” he sings.

Chloe x Halle fans get a little more time with ‘Ungodly Hour,’ the sister act’s sophomore album, thanks to the re-release treatment.
Christened the ‘Chrome Edition,’ the effort arrives 8 months after its original incarnation – which stands as their highest charting endeavor on the Billboard 200 to date. That success is mirrored by the cut’s lead single, ‘Do It,’ which stands as the duo’s highest Hot 100 charting and best-selling single to date.
Looking to keep that slew of successes rolling, ‘Chrome’ shines with a set of new tracks to help fill out the LP’s critically acclaimed tracklist (which already featured the likes of ‘Catch Up,’ ‘Forgive Me,’ and the recently-released ‘Ungodly Hour’ title track).
