A source told People that West has been “texting people” and “talking through things.”
They went on to say:
“He’s in that place of ‘if only.’ If only I had done this, if only I hadn’t done that.’ He’s processing things.
He thinks that the presidential run was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Before that, there was hope. After that, none. It cost him his marriage.”
The couple, who have been married seven years, began experiencing problems last summer after West launched his campaign and began to reveal personal details about his family and marriage.
Kardashian filed for divorce on February 19 (as we reported here) and has reportedly hired famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser. She is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four children-North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 20 months.

Kim is worth 780 Million, I hardly feel someone who has that kinda money needs to fake love for money, its not like she didn’t have options and look at some of the guys she dated or had affairs with, it was typically guys who had less money than she did, it can’t be argued that she or any of the Kardashians are chasing men for money.

Kim was still doing club appearances when she got involved with Kanye. Yes, she was rich but Ye elevated her in income, wealth, and social status. Kim was literally about to fall off and she finally got with Kanye to keep and expand her celebrity for another 15 minutes. I remember after her 72 day marriage about profiting millions off a TV wedding the public was done with her and saw her as a complete joke. No major magazines wanted her because major designers did not want her in their clothes.
Ye was a respected artist in 2013 and had major ties to fashion industry heavy hitters. He advocated for Kim to get more opportunities. Yall don’t understand just how crucial her relationships with Kanye was to her maintaining relevancy past just being some reality star, tabloid fodder, s** tape having D- lister to a bonifide A-list celebrity.

She used him for status. She was a glorified socialite before she married him. She wasn’t sitting next to Jay Z and Beyoncé at award shows, getting Vogue covers, and going to the MET Gala before she had him. HE gave her the status to be in those spaces. He dressed her, and her sisters, and changed her look, she suddenly wanted to be a lawyer, etc. Her image completely turned around. You really think she would be as successful if she was still married to Kris Humphries right now?? You are insane if you don’t see how he significantly elevated her life throughout their marriage and made her a hell of a lot of money in the process.
I don’t think she’s wrong for divorcing him though btw. The man is simply unfit to be anyone’s husband, president, church service leader, etc. I don’t think they should’ve gotten married in the first place.
