Not counting specialty projects, it’s been over 4 years since Gwen Stefani blessed fans with original solo music.

Last blasting to the top of charts with her 2016 studio LP, ‘This is What the Truth Feels Like,’ the 51-year-old’s spent the time since racking up Country hits with fiancé Blake Shelton and annually recharging her 2017-released holiday album, ‘You Make it Feel Like Christmas.’

As we reported here, that all changed Monday (December 7) when Stefani unleashed ‘Let Me Reintroduce Myself’ – a self-proclaimed return to the (sonic) form found aboard her Ska-Pop filled No Doubt and early solo offerings.

Apparently, the reintroduction is just what music lovers have been waiting for.  See what we mean inside:

Just a day after filling out a star-studded lineup of music stars helping Disney usher in the 2020 Christmas season with its ABC ‘Holiday Singalong’ television special (click here to watch), chart-topping Pop stars P!nk and Katy Perry reunited to share billing on yet another performance roster – this time for a good cause.

Joining forces with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the divas took their talents to the non-profit’s ‘Change Maker’ virtual fundraiser Tuesday (December 1) to help raise funds in support of the organization’s work to save and improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.

Although guest appearances at the event included Perry’s husband Orlando Bloom, Alyssa Milano, Billie Eilish, FINNEAS, and many more, the night’s standout moments came courtesy of its performers Liam Payne, P!nk, and Perry – who lifted a particularly stirring live rendition of her latest single, ‘Only Love’ (found aboard the 2020 album ‘Smile’).

After scoring their third top 5 hit on both sides of the pond with the October 30-released ‘Love Goes’ (click here to read more), Sam Smith – in a bid to ensure its longevity on charts – has shown no signs of slowing support for the LP.

Despite preceding the project’s release with an aggressive awareness run that saw touch downs on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden,’ 2020 ARIA Awards, 2020 MTV EMAs, Sirius XM, and more (as we reported here), Smith’s still pounding the promo pavement with the latest appearance coming on the U.K.’s Magic Radio.

On hand to deliver a little yuletide magic, Sam shared an absolutely stunning rendition of holiday classic ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ before launching into an updated version of their recently Diamond-certified hit, ‘Stay With Me.’

Having already pushed ‘Levitating’ to the top 20 of singles charts in the United States, Poland, Canada, Bulgaria, Australia, and her native United Kingdom, Dua Lipa‘s global push of her latest single is not only hoping to hoist the hit to higher heights on those respective tallies but also see that success mirrored in other countries.

That’s why it’s no surprise the GRAMMY winner – just weeks after blazing the American Music Awards stage with the Koz-produced cut (click here to watch) – took to the airwaves of Spain and France in its promotion.

Offering sizzling live renditions of ‘Levitating’ to the 2020 NRJ Music Awards and Los40 Music Awards in the same weekend, (December 5) look inside to see just how she fared on the platforms.

Mariah Carey seems poised to end the year just where she began it: at the top of the charts.

Since streaming started impacting chart placements, the popularity of holiday-themed music has been more accurately represented on the Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 due to its heavy consumption over the last two months of the year.

No artist has reaped the benefit of that update more than Carey, who has seen her enduring yuletide classic – ‘All I Want for Christmas’ – bound into the single chart’s upper half every year since the Billboard change.

Hitting #1 to historic measure at the end of 2019 (as we reported here), the tune is well on its way to doing so again this year.
