Just days after premiering the official music video for her new album’s title track (as we reported here), Katy Perry is serving her faithful fans – affectionately called #KatyCats – yet another taste of a gem found aboard her forthcoming fifth studio album, ‘Smile.’

Penned and produced by Johan Carlsson, the saucy cut sees Perry challenge the status quo of society’s view of what women are and can be.

“Is it the way I talk sweet, the way my skin is soft? / Or how I can be a b*tch, and make you keep your fingers crossed? / Is it the way that I praise you, the way that I please you? / Or how fast I change my mind, and get scared that I might leave you?,” she wails on the track.

First unveiled via a gripping live performance (that can be seen here), the recorded version of the tune is now available and can be seen inside:

Megan Thee Stallion is ready to show fans just how savage she can be.

It’s been over a month since the chart-topping rapstress made headlines for allegedly getting shot by fellow rapper Tory Lanez (as we first reported here), yet she’s been fairly mum about the incident itself – opting to focus mainly on recuperating (emotionally and physically) from the altercation.

While Lanez has said even less, his team – according to Stallion – has been painting what she believes is a false narrative in an attempt to ensure he avoids getting charged.

Tired of the hoop-la, she took to Instagram Thursday night (August 20) to confirm what many have been whispering since the event’s onset:  Tory shot her. What’s more, she’s going into full detail about what led up to him firing the weapon.

Hear it from her inside:

With modest airplay, streaming, and digital downloads to its credit since arriving on May 22, ‘Need It’ – the collaborative single of Migos and YoungBoy Never Broke Again has managed to maintain buoyancy on the lower half of the Hot 100 (peaking at #62 to date).

In an effort to push it to higher heights on the tally, they tapped Wyatt Winfrey to direct the tune’s cinematic music video – which acts as nod to The Wayans Bros. 1996 classic parodic comedy, ‘Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.’

Reportedly among the gems set to line Migos’ forthcoming album, tentatively titled ‘Culture III,’ look inside to see the visual (which also features a cameo from femcee/Quavo‘s girlfriend Saweetie).

‘Break My Heart’ hitmaker Dua Lipa is looking to see the tune’s parent album, ‘Future Nostalgia,’ break back into the Billboard 200’s top 10 with the release of its deluxe edition: ‘Club Future Nostalgia.’

Due on digital shelves August 28, the project’s already been greeted with ample buzz thanks to word of a remix to its hit, ‘Physical,’ featuring Gwen Stefani as well as a remix to fan favorite, ‘Levitating,‘ featuring music royals Madonna and Missy Elliott (click here to watch its official music video).

Speaking on the set’s revamping, Lipa revealed:

“I’ve watched you all dance in your homes and on your Zoom parties to ‘Future Nostalgia’ like you were in the club with me,” she stated alluding to the inspiration for the deluxe edition’s title. “It brought so much joy to my days spent at home, even though I would’ve much rather been playing these songs live for you all on the road.”

Now, she’s taking the party up a notch. Look inside to see the full tracklist for ‘Club’:

Undoubtedly expected to make a splash upon its premiere on the Billboard Hot 100, the gargantuan impact made by Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion‘s joint effort, ‘WAP,’ may be better categorized as a tsunami.

Opening atop the tally with numbers that rival some of music history’s biggest debuts ever, the Ayo the Producer-crafted bop – which largely samples Frank Ski‘s 1992 club anthem ‘Whores in This House’ – was penciled in record books several times over in just its first seven days.

‘Silly’ singer Deniece Williams has been accused of being just that from diehard Mariah Carey fans, affectionately called #Lambs, after she criticized the Pop icon’s current vocal state.

Taking to our friends at TrueExclusives recently, the GRAMMY-winner was quizzed on her favorite songstress of yesterday and today – lending compliments to the likes of Ariana Grande, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, and more.

When asked about Carey, however, Williams did express love for her fellow multi-octave diva but then launched a critique of the 50-year-old’s vocal decline over the years.  Needless to say, her assessment was not warmly welcomed by #Lambs.
