Less than two weeks before Christmas, FKA twigs surprised fans with the unwrapping of ‘Tears in the Club’ featuring The Weeknd.

The Arca, Cirkut, and El Guincho-produced cut’s arrival, which was accompanied by a sci-fi-inspired music video, is expected to be on twigs’ forthcoming mixtape (reportedly titled ‘Capri Sun’).

As fans of both artists continue to get acquainted with the new tune, the eccentric diva’s lifted a behind the scenes look at its Amber Grace Johnson-directed music video.

‘The Way’ singer Jill Scott saw her Twitter mentions blow all the way up earlier this week once rumors began swirling about a leaked sex tape.

Sending Scott’s name to trending status on the platform, thousands of tweets surfaced in response to the unconfirmed news – with comments ranging from expressions of disappointment to curiosity and excitement.  And while such alleged video has yet to surface, that certainly hasn’t stopped people from talking about it.

True to form, it was unwrapped via a cinematic trailer.

Less than five months after sending his fans into a frenzy at reports he was set to retire, August Alsina surprises with news that he’s not hanging up his mic just yet.

Teaming with lauded singer-songwriter Priscilla Renea (known pseudonymously as Muni Long), Alsina adds a steamy verse to the remix of the songstress’ critically acclaimed cut, ‘Hrs & Hrs.’

“I wish the day was more than 24 hours / With every extra minute / Girl, I would be lost in it / Kissin’ you all over every inch / I won’t stop until you’re moanin’ / More, more, more, more, more hours,” he croons on the Ralph Tiller-produced track.

With Aaliyah‘s iconic catalog finally on streaming services, attention is turning to new material from the late, great performer.

As reported, the freshly relaunched Blackground Records 2.0 set out its plans to release an album of unheard songs from the star. Its title was touted as ‘Unstoppable’

Now, the label’s head (and Aaliyah’s uncle) Barry Hankerson is opening up about the project and revealed that it’s coming sooner than folk may think.
