Cardi B may be sitting pretty in the top 5 of the iTunes sales charts (as of time reported) thanks to her latest release ‘Money,’ but that hasn’t stopped the chart-topping rapper from addressing its premature posting there.

As we reported here, despite being released in full earlier today the song was originally set for a Thursday (October 25) release.  The leak didn’t set well with Cardi who took to social media to gripe about the tune’s unexpected unveiling and even call out Nicki Minaj‘s fans (affectionately called ‘Barbz’) for their derogatory comments on the matter.

Surprise! Cardi B has unleashed new single ‘Money’ a day early!

Word is that the femcee is actively getting in front of an unanticipated leak.

The track follows her three #1s on the Billboard Hot 100 and the chart-topping success of Platinum selling debut album ‘Invasion Of Privacy.’ It’s also Cardi’s first solo offering of fresh material since giving birth to daughter Kulture this summer.

Recent times have seen Nicki Minaj locked in a social media spats and shoe-throwing showdowns.

However, Onika’s latest tussle is of the legal variety and it comes courtesy of legendary singer Tracy Chapman. 

As reported in the run-up to the release of Minaj’s ‘Queen‘ album, the femcee had been open about her quest to have Chapman permit use of ‘Baby Can I Hold You’ as a sample on her Nas collaboration ‘Sorry.’

The back and forth is said to have factored into the delay of the LP, and when it didn’t yield an agreement the song was left off the tracklist but rolled out on radio anyway.

Well, Chapman is far from pleased and is taking her annoyance to court.

Cardi B is not giving the competition any room to manoeuvre.

For this Thursday night she’ll be unleashing brand new single ‘Money.’

It’s not been immediately announced whether the cut will be placed on a re-issue of Platinum selling debut ‘Invasion Of Privacy,’ a new project, or issued as a standalone offering.

Wha is for certain is that it’ll be arriving during a climate of slaying for the 26-year-old femcee.

In less than a year, she’s wracked up three #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 – a tally she currently reigns on with Maroon 5 collaboration ‘Girls Like You.’

The Dancehall icon Spice broke the internet yesterday when she unveiled her “new look” to confused fans on Instagram.

Sporting white skin and a blonde wig, the performer led supporters to believe that she had undergone a horrific bleaching process to destroy her G0d-given melanin.

Fortunately, it was nothing more than a publicity stunt to start a healthy conversation about self-hatred within the black community.

“I was always made to feel inferior.”

The name of her track? ‘Black Hypocrisy.’

Ella Mai is looking to take a trip to a stage near you and she’s bringing the hits found aboard her self-titled debut album with her. Not even two months after wrapping up the summer-long ‘Boo’d Up’ tour in Seattle, the 23-year-old is packing her bags again for the newly announced ‘Debut Tour.’

Kicking off January 8, 2019 in Birmingham, UK, the trek is scheduled to take Mai from her native country to France, The Netherlands, Norway, and more European destinations before heading across the pond to North America where she’ll show off her cuts ‘Boo’d Up,’ ‘Trip,’ and more to audiences in Detroit, Las Vegas, Houston, Chicago, Baltimore, and more before wrapping up in San Antonio, TX on March 28.

What a difference a day makes!

Just a month ago pop star Ariana Grande confirmed she was taking time off from recording, touring, and promoting her latest chart-topping album, ‘Sweetener,’ due to her “difficult year” (click here to read more).  The news was issued shortly after reports surfaced about the death of her ex-boyfriend/rapper Mac Miller.

Fast forward a month, the newly single 25-year-old is looking to redirect headlines from stories about her personal life back to her true claim to fame:  her music.  That’s why when quizzed on the status of her “time off,” Grande gave her fans (affectionately called #Arianators) some news that sent them into a frenzy:
