‘Talk About Our Love’ singer Brandy has been the talk of a number of fan groups over the past week, namely Jennifer Lopez‘s #JLovers and Mariah Carey‘s #Lambs.  For, after one simple IG post honoring the leader of the latter, she was inundated with insults and social media attacks for implied “shade” toward the leader of the former.

Granted, she did quickly clear up the mess online, but she wanted to ensure the drama was completely squashed.  Taking to CBS’s ‘The Talk’ to address the matter, B-Rocka spoke candidly about her love for both Carey and Lopez and reminded members of their fan groups that her #SheKnowsMe post meant no harm.

Fifth Harmony flew the flag of fierceness on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ moments ago.

The Pop quad are gearing up for the release of their third album and took to the late night talk to show to reveal their new album will be self-titled and released on August 25th.

As if that alone wasn’t enough to send their fans, affectionately called #Harmonizers, into a complete frenzy, the quartet took to the stage to perform the project’s lead single, ‘Down,’ with some help from rapper Gucci Mane.

How time flies!

It’s been three years since Jessie J scorched with the blazing ‘Bang Bang.’

In the time since, the Brit-bred belter has experienced notable ups and downs; album ‘Sweet Talker’ didn’t ignite the charts in the way hoped, she left her management company, and retreated Down Under to rebuild her brand on The Voice Australia.

Recharged and raring to go, the vocal wonder has been in the studio with DJ Camper cooking up her next project.

Fans may be growing impatient with Christina Aguilera after years of musical inactivity, but the singer was all smiles at ‘The Emoji Movie’ premiere in Los Angeles today.

Joined by fiancé Matt Rutler and children Max and Summer Rain, Xtina looked like she was getting life ever-lasting in her ensemble which was inspired by the film

One can only hope that her increased visibility of late is leading to something. And hopefully that something isn’t another season of pointless spinning on The Voice. She just doesn’t have the luxury of taking an age to return when her last album ‘Lotus’ was a colossal flop (pours out a little liquor for the still blazin’ ‘Your Body’). We want music and pronto.

From The Vault journeys back a decade and some change to 2005 when Ricky Martin embraced R&B. This week’s pick is ‘I Don’t Care.’

Issued as the first single from the Latin heartthrob’s English-language LP ‘Life,’ ‘Care’ was produced by Scott Storch and featured two premium guests: Amerie – who was riding the wave of  ‘1 Thing’s success – and fellow Puerto Rican Fat Joe.

Unfortunately, the track wasn’t as successful as the trio’s previous efforts in the US and only peaked at #65 on the Billboard Hot 100. It fared better in Europe where it reached the Top 20 in the UK, France, Italy and Finland.

Diane Martel directed the jam’s minimalistic visual, which boasted a monochrome theme. A markedly mid-00s romp, the clip featured female dancers, voluptuous vixens, and big cars. A welcomed change from Martin’s leather-pants days. Another video for the track’s Spanish version was released, with Debi Nova replacing Amerie.

As “random” as this collaboration was on paper, it somehow it worked. Ricky’s natural swag, Amerie’s soft sensuality and Joe’s crossover appeal made this a winner in our eyes and we wish they would have pushed this single harder as it deserved a better chart trajectory.

Oh well, at least there’s the replay button!
