After dropping two surprise albums last year, it’s clear Frank Ocean is a fan of the shock factor.

Proven as such, the eccentric singer followed up his feature on Calvin Harris’ ‘Slide’ with a new cut titled ‘Chanel,’ presented on the second installment of his Beats 1 show, blonded RADIO.

To accompany the track, Ocean also took to Tumblr to share the song’s lyrics in an abstract arrangement, and also art with the Chanel fashion brand logo.

It’s not clear whether new song leftover from one of his albums, or something freshly recorded. Regardless, we’ll accept anything new. Especially as it sounds better than anything he offered up last year.

Ed Sheeran made an impressive chart debut with his latest album ‘÷’ as expected in the U.S., but his record breaking slayage extends to home soil too.

Lifted by ‘Shape Of You,’ the set has become the fastest-selling album in the U.K. by a male artist ever, shifting more than the fastest album of 2016, David Bowie‘s ‘Blackstar.’

The Brit singer’s third studio effort clocks in with a triumphant 672,000 units in its first week. An extension of his dominance can also be seen in the fact that all 16 tracks of his March 3rd release have made it to the top 20.

Becoming the third fastest seller ever, only Adele‘s ‘25‘ (800,000) and OasisBe Here Now‘ (696,000) raked in higher first week totals in the U.K.

To celebrate his colossal success, the singer headed to the Breakfast Club to enjoy drinks and a lackadaisical conversation with DJ Envy and Charlamagne.

‘Unpretty’ pair TLC may have slammed with ugly accusations of running with fans’ kickstarter donations provided to fund their last album, but now they’re hoping a listen at one of its finished products will help clear their name (and the air).

Teaming with FOX’s hit series, ‘Star,’ the group’s lead singer T-Boz took to Twitter earlier this week to excite followers with the announcement there’d be new music on display during this week’s episode.  When quizzed on if the tune – titled ‘Way Back’ – would be the kick off to the June 2017-due project, T responded:

As Nicki Minaj’s newest hit song, ‘No Frauds,’ proclaims:  “…here at Young Money, we don’t do diss records, we drop HIT RECORDS & diss u ON them.”  One peek at the most updated iTunes charts reveals she was right.

Fans waited nearly two weeks to hear the Harajuku Barbie’s clapback to the ever-blazing burn of a diss track that was Remy Ma‘s ‘Shether.’ However, just as her faithful Barbz thought the heat from the beef had cooled, Minaj – with Young Money brothers Drake and Lil Wayne at her side – reignited the tussle with the release of not one, but three songs – ‘No Frauds,’ ‘Regret In Your Tears,’ and ‘Changed It’ [click here to listen].

Admittedly, most thought if she was ever to clap back she’d do so cleverly by tucking the response lyrics in an actual single.  What could not have been predicted, however, was that all three songs would soar on iTunes, with ‘Frauds’ leading the pack at #1 on digital rap charts.
