Doja Cat started the week with news she made Billboard history thanks to ‘Scarlet‘ hits ‘Agora Hills’ and ‘Paint the Town Red,’ but – if the reaction to her two newest songs are any indication – she may be well on her way to repeating the record-setting feat.

Tapped for ‘The Book of Clarence’ soundtrack, Cat contributed the Jeymes Samuel, Kodak Black and Adekunle Gold-assisted ‘JEEZU‘ to the star-studded album that also features names like JAY-Z, D’Angelo, and Lil Wayne on its roster. The musical project hit digital shelves on Friday (January 12) – the same day as its parent film.

Elsewhere, Doja joined forces with fellow GRAMMY-winning rapper 21 Savage as the guest on his song ‘n.h.i.e.’

Found aboard his latest effort, ‘American Dream,’ the opus (like ‘Clarence’) is also attached to a movie – a biographical venture of the same name that chronicles Savage’s rise to fame.

At long last, the #AG7 era is finally upon us.

Just days after sending her beloved fan base (affectionately called #Arianators) into a frenzy with news she’s ready to unlock new music, Ariana Grande has lifted the lid on the tune ‘Yes, And?’

Tapping producer extraordinaire Max Martin to helm production, ‘Yes’ comes as the first single from the GRAMMY winner’s new album reportedly titled ‘Eternal Sunshine‘ – the long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s chart-topping ‘Positions.’

Ahead of the arrival of its accompanying music video at 7a PST on Friday morning (January 12), get acquainted with ‘Yes, And?’ inside.

After using his last controversial era, ‘Montero,’ to go to Hell to twerk on and unalive the Devil, Lil Nas X is now using his musical superpowers to go to Heaven in the cinematic music video for ‘J Christ‘ – the first single from his yet-titled sophomore album.

With its polarizing depictions of crucifixion and communion, LNX (born Montero Hill) once again ruffled the feathers of Christian conservatives – many of whom blasted the GRAMMY winner on social media and even signed petitions to have ‘J Christ’ blocked from radio and digital airwaves.

Much to their chagrin, their efforts have proven futile as Friday (January 12) brought with it the arrival of the Hill-directed visual in full.

Featuring a cameo from Web personality-actress TS Madison, hop inside to see the action.

Don’t think the absence of her serially delayed debut album, ‘Pretty B*tch Music,’ means Saweetie is resting on her laurels.

The project – orginally due in summer 2021 – is undergoing an extensive revamp conceptually and sonically.

“I honestly have an ample amount of songs. It’s all about figuring out what kind of story I want to tell,” she said recently. “I don’t know if I want a linear story…I don’t want it to be an album just full of hits. Yes, I want it to have hits but I want the songs to correlate with one another.”

Until she’s ready to lift the lid on official news surrounding the LP, however, she’s building an entertainment portfolio across multiple genres that will keep her in the public eye until the set is done baking.

Another day, another diss track in the fiery feud between Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don.
