Beyonce hasn’t sat down for a traditional interview in almost three years; but with buzz to build for her Super Bowl performance with Coldplay on Sunday night, the singer has shattered the silence.

Aptly, it was for a feature on CBS’ network special – The Super Bowl’s Greatest Halftime Shows.

Watch below as Queen Bey spills on her 2013 spectacle and takes the masses behind the scenes to see the ‘Formation’ of the extravaganza.

thatgrapejuice usher u got it bad

Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week we’ll rewind to the third #1 hit of R&B vet Usher‘s career – ‘U Got It Bad.’ The second single lifted from his ‘8701’ album, the tune’s ascension to the summit of the Hot 100 marked the first time in his career he nabbed consecutive #1 hits (both from one album). Skyrocketing to the top of the tally in late 2001, the song was briefly toppled by rockers Nickelback before resuming its grip on the position for 5 consecutive weeks (6 weeks overall).

A lasting fan favorite of Ush’s, the tune’s accompanying video – featuring then-girlfriend Chilli (of TLC) – is remembered most for its famous rain dance sequence (impressive choreography the crooner has recreated on stage time and time again).  Tuck in below to relive ‘Bad’ and see which of its chart co-tenants you remember most from this week in 2002:

The numbers, after much ado, are finally in.

Rihanna‘s eighth studio album ‘ANTI’ has been the subject of much debate – thanks largely to a leak on TIDAL, a purchased Platinum plaque, and an all-round messy roll-out.

It also bears the weight of serving as the year’s first “event” release from a major Pop artist.

How did it fare, then, after its first full week in the marketplace? Find out below…

Vocal wonder has JoJo wowed with yet another amazing performance.

The petite powerhouse took to the stage on the ‘Late Show With Seth Myers’ yesterday evening, where she delivered the network television premiere of ‘Save My Soul.’

Lifted from the songbird’s summer ‘Tringle’ (three simultaneous singles), the track remains our favorite of the trio – a stance strengthened after this rousing showing.

Justin Bieber may have made history this week when he replaced himself atop the Hot 100 with ‘Love Yourself,’ but now it appears the pop prince’s reign will be cut short by another Urban pop heartthrob – Zayn Malik.

The ‘1D’ graduate has taken all but the gradual route to solo success, as the lead single from his debut album, ‘Mind of Mine’ (March 25), evidences.  Music lovers were wide awake for the tune, titled ‘Pillow Talk,’ when it made its official debut last week.  Already amassing an impressive 45 million views on VEVO (as of time reporting), see its accompanying sales figure that industry analysts are predicting will be just enough to see it land at #1 on next week’s refreshed singles’ chart:

After a brief rest on the bench, The Word is back!

Rihanna‘s ‘ANTI’ album release is undoubtedly music’s hottest topic and while, we here at TGJ have our own views on the LP, we had to hit the streets of Hollywood to hear what the masses have to say.

Is RiRi onto a hit with the long awaited eighth effort or led project or does she need to put in more…‘Work?’

Well, wonder no more. Because said ad has been poured online by PEPSI.
