After sending fans into a quick frenzy (and we do mean “quick”) yesterday with the unveil of a brief look at her forthcoming HBO-hosted special ‘Lemonade,’ Grammy winning pop diva Beyonce sent many running to calendars to checkmark April 23rd.

But, those unsure if the short teaser was news about the singer’s long-awaited new album, affectionately titled ‘B6,’ pressured officials at the premium channel until they blew the whistle on news an extended teaser would be available for viewing pleasure tonight.

The 15-time Grammy winner, who has not released an album since 2012’s ‘Girl On Fire,’ officially revealed that new music is imminent.

Buzz continues to build for Ariana Grande‘s third studio album ‘Dangerous Woman.’

The volume of excitement was cranked up a notch moments ago when Lil Wayne collaboration ‘Let Me Love You’ surfaced online – reportedly as an instant-grat offering for those who pre-order the set..

It follows previously released numbers ‘Be Alright’ and the LP’s title track.

Michelle Williams wowed last night at the NBA Playoffs.

The Destiny’s Child diva turned Gospel award winner shined with a rousing rendition of the US National Anthem (the ‘Star Spangled Banner’).

Her showing kicked off the battle between the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors.

For the modern era, commercial comebacks don’t come any bigger than Mariah Carey‘s powerful return to prominence with ‘The Emancipation of Mimi.’

As widely documented, the songbird’s career was in precarious position prior to the April 2005 release.

Mimi’s music had not been flying off the shelves for years. Indeed, the bombastic bombing of 2001’s ‘Glitter’ effectively tombstoned her huge Virgin Records deal and 2002 follow-up ‘Charmbracelet’ (her first release for Island Def Jam), while embraced by critics, did not deliver commercially.

The latter would prove to be the calm before the storm, though. Because, following the one-two punch thrown by ‘Emancipation’s preceding singles ‘It’s Like That’ and ‘We Belong Together,’ Mariah would go on to enjoy one of the hottest streaks of her illustrious career.

She earned her 16th and 17th #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, was certified 6x Platinum in the US (sales not streams), and sold 12 million copies of the LP worldwide. Very much a Tina Turner ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ moment for the 00s.

All roads lead to May 20th for Ariana Grande.

The pint-sized powerhouse will release her third studio album ‘Dangerous Woman’ on said date and will, in doing so, do battle with Fifth Harmony’s ‘7/27’ for the top spot worldwide.

Having delivered delicious morsels of what fans can expect from her new material (in the form of singles ‘Be Alright’ and the LP’s title track), Grande has today unveiled the LP’s official tracklist.

Joining the 23-year-old on the hotly anticipated set are Hip-Hop heavy-hitters such as Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, and a few surprising names.

Brandy may have premiered a new video today in the form of ‘Beggin’ and Pleadin,” however question marks remain over the status of its parent album.

Indeed, since news hit of the singer’s legal tussle with label head Breyon Presscott, it appears no certainties exist pertaining to the feasibility of an LP. For legal documents filed by the diva claim she is unlawfully being lured into signing a deal that principally serves to profit Presscott – head of Chameleon Entertainment – and leave her worse for wear.

Seizing the moment, Presscott’s team have issued a lengthy statement countering the claims and presenting a detailed timeline of events.
