Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, just as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

Now, let’s press play on ‘Disturbia,’ a #1 stunner from serial Barbadian hitmaker Rihanna.

Found on the re-release of her 2007 ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ project,  this week in 2008 the song’s ascension to the summit came as part of a summer long ‘musical chairs’ that saw she, gal pal Katy Perry, and rapper Lil Wayne consistently trade spots at the top and in other parts of the top 10.

Fans may remember after she enjoyed a brief run at #1 with her Ne-Yo-penned hit ‘Take a Bow,’ the song quickly bowed out of the top spot to be replaced by Wayne’s ‘Lollipop’ (which was quickly kissed goodbye by Perry’s ‘I Kissed A Girl’).

It looks like a J. Cole-assisted music video was just what the doctor ordered for pop queen Janet Jackson.

Despite a quick slip out of the Hot 100 shortly after its debut, now – just two weeks after the diva unveiled the sleek visual for her long-awaited comeback single ‘No Sleeep’ – the tune’s been greeted with reawakened interest on the singles’ charts.

The Hip-Hop force that is Puff Daddy has released the visual for his brand new jam ‘Finna Get Loose’ with help from its featured act and producer Pharrell Williams.

Hype Williams whipped up fresh creative energy to direct the video and does his best to raise awareness for the single’s supporting album ‘No Way Out II’ which follows 1997’s ‘No Way Out.’

Cop a gander of JoJo!

The vocal powerhouse is all grown up and keen to show it.

Now aged 24, the singer embraces her womanhood in a newly unwrapped promo snap.

The image arrives as the star revealed her brand new website and updated all her social media handles this week (with ‘IAmJoJo’ serving as the unified phrase for all).

Reliable word has it that the roll0out precedes songbird’s long-awaited new single and album, which will stand as her first at new label nest, Atlantic Records.

As widely reported, JoJo had been prevented from releasing new music for several years due to a prolonged battle with former label Blackground. She earned her much deserved freedom in January of last year following a long legal showdown.

Needless to say, we can’t wait to hear the fruit of her studio labor. With all she’s been through, we’re confident the material will be blazing – both sonically and lyrically.

Rita Ora has unleashed her blazing new single ‘Body On Me’ featuring R&B bad boy Chris Brown. Its first play came courtesy of Capital FM radio in the UK.

The Summer anthem is the first to be lifted from Ora’s debut US album, which is due in November via Roc Nation/Columbia.

Produced by The Monsterz, the hard-hitting track is already being hailed as Ora’s strongest effort yet. And we don’t disagree. It’s a bonafide banger!

Mariah Carey was honored moments ago with the 2,556th star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Thousands of fans were on hand for the ceremony, which saw the likes of L.A Reid, Lee Daniels, Brett Ratner, and BET exec Stephen Hill offer rousing speeches in support of the diva.

Also present were Mimi’s adorable four year old twins Monroe and Moroccan, who posed with their glamorous mother.

Beyonce is all about her business, but her latest move is one we’re sure few would expect.

The ‘Drunk In Love’ diva has announced the her collaboration with Flash Tattoos, the jewelry-inspired temporary tattoo company solely responsible for launching the metallic tattoo craze.

To celebrate the venture, Queen Bey has unwrapped a new photoshoot, which sees her rock the ‘Beyonce’ pack of gold and black tattooable jewelry that she creatively directed and co-designed with the famed brand.

Available to purchase now from the Flash Tattoo website, the range boasts some of the 33-year-old’s most notable song titles and catch-phrases including ‘Flawless,’ “I woke up like this,” and ‘Pretty Hurts.’

It’s back to business for Pop queen Janet Jackson.

The 49-year-old megastar was snapped arriving at LAX Airport in Los Angeles last night after spending the week in Brazil by the bedside of her father, Joe Jackson.

As widely reported, the Jackson patriarch suffered a stroke and heart attack in the South American region following his 87th birthday.

It’s expected that the ‘Feedback’ singer will re-join production rehearsals for her eagerly anticipated ‘Unbreakable World Tour‘ – which kicks off August 31st in Vancouver. Per Janet’s team, production did indeed continue in her absence.
