The first-ever performance of Nicki Minaj’s and Beyonce’s ‘Feeling Myself’ was delivered to fans this week, presented to the world during the European leg of the former’s ‘The Pinkprint Tour.’
There, in support of the album it was launched to support, Minaj performed the jam sans Beyonce but with the backing of new choreography, dancers and the charisma her US fans will hope to enjoy when the tour touches down in the market this summer.

Hip-Hop force Kendrick Lamar is set to soar to the top of the Billboard 200 next week with his wildly anticipated sophomore album, ‘To Pimp A Butterfly.’
Originally set for release on March 23rd, the LP – which was preceded by taster cuts ‘i’ and ‘The Blacker The Berry’ – was rolled out in a rush after an alleged error saw the project available to buy before its street date.

Weeks before another chart titan is said to surprise the world with a new LP, Kendrick Lamar has learned that his decision to drop his new LP ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ like a generous thief in the night has paid off…big time.
Set free a week before its original release date, the album has now set a first-day streaming record on the streaming service ‘Spotify’, spun 9.6 million times worldwide in the space of a day.
Doing so has seen him snatch the record away from Michael Bolton’s ‘Christmas’ LP and earn him a reported $44,160 in a single day globally, outperforming Drake’s ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ and Madonna’s ‘Rebel Heart’ on the platform.
Over the course of Beyonce‘s illustrious career, the singer has flirted with a number of different sounds. From the soulful flair of her debut, to the funkified ferociousness of ‘B’Day,’ then there was the Pop lean of ‘I Am…’, and of course the grittiness of self-titled. King B has conquered all.
Interestingly, though, longtime collaborator The-Dream has this week dished on an abandoned sound the singer was prepping for what would have been 2011’s ‘4.’
