Fresh from news that she’d landed her own BET talk show, the multi-talented Keke Palmer fixes her gaze on music once more with the tune ‘Animal’.

Set to kick off the official soundtrack to the Drew Barrymore-produced horror film of the same name (due in June), the tune comes as the latest of Palmer’s releases that have appeared on the net in recent days.

…and the Elijah Blake promo train has left the station!

After spending the last two years winning over music lovers with many a live show and the streaming magnet that was ‘Bijoux 22‘, Elijah Blake kicks off the campaign for his debut album this week!

His first move? A reworked rendition of John Legend‘s smash hit ‘All of Me‘, placed an arm in arm with a mellow take on his very own ‘Sing For Me’, showcasing the voice undeniably built for Gospel but “harnessed” enough to woo the Pop disciples his music is yet to win over.

As two of Hip-Hop’s most exciting newcomers, all eyes are on how the numbers are looking for Iggy Azalea‘s debut effort ‘The New Classic’ and Future‘s sophomore set ‘Honest’.

Both LP’s blasted into stores yesterday after months of delays (and in Azalea’s case, years).

As earlier reported, the Pop royal’s latest venture sees her team up with car giant Toyota for their new ‘Get Going’ campaign.

The initial commercial unwrapped last month has now been revealed as one of three TV spots shot in support of the project, with the remaining two set to be rolled out over the year.

Destiny’s Child may have gone their separate ways ten years ago, yet the ladies bond remains as strong as ever.

Members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams shared a shot of themselves hanging out on Instagram moments ago.

The break will no doubt be brief for the divas, who are each busy with solo endeavours. Indeed, Rowland is currently recording her fifth studio album and serving as the spokesmodel for Caress Skincare, while Williams is gearing up to take on a lead role in the 50-date arena tour of musical ‘Jesus Chris Superstar’. The Gospel belter is also readying new album ‘Journey To Freedom’, for release later this year.

Stage blazer Shakira quite literally lived up to that billing last night on The Voice.

The singer, who serves as a “coach” on the show, stepped out of her seat and hit the stage to perform latest single ‘Empire’.

Backed by a full band, flames, and handy reference track, the star was no doubt hoping re-ignite interest in her new self-titled album – which hasn’t necessarily been flying off shelves since its release on March 25th.

Before being submitted to and subsequently rewritten by Beyonce and Chad Hugo, the former’s ‘I Care’ was introduced to ‘Who Cares‘, a solo release launched by singer/songwriter Jeff Bhasker.

Released via Bhasker‘s alter-ego Billy Kraven, ‘Cares’ found its way to Carter’s fourth studio album ‘4′, reproduced and recorded as it is today at Times Square‘s ‘MRS Studios‘, packing a vocal punch oft hailed as one of the vocalist’s best.

Yes, one week after unlocking the studio effort, the opening week number for August Alsina‘s debut LP ‘Testimony‘ have been released!

This, days after industry outlet ‘Hits Daily Double‘ predicted the star would shift between 50 to 60,000 units following an intense promo run that saw him tackle the press head on with interviews given to outlets from all walks of media life.

Unfortunately, those who placed bets on the sales using ‘Double’s prediction can now consider themselves losers, as he did not move numbers between 50 and 60k mark.
