Drake continues to whet appetites for his sophomore set ‘Take Care’, today cranking up anticipation with the release of the album’s official cover.

The Hip-Hop titan unveiled the regal shot on his blog, pairing it with the following:

Feels like it’s been so long. Is life moving so fast in this generation that when we desire something it begins to move in slow motion? Are we just used to getting what we want right away? Or do we require one another to feel right about all that is going on around us? Maybe our anticipation is justified by the fact that we genuinely cannot wait to share a moment again? TGJ ‘faves’ Rihanna and Katy Perry are just two of the big names who will take the stage tonight at the 2011 Rock In Rio.  Also featuring headlining acts Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Ke$ha, Shakira, and a host of international acts, the packed festival is being held in beautiful Rio de Janeiro.

Scheduled for September 23rd-25th, 29th-30th, and October 1st-2nd, fans are invited to rock along with their faves all week long.

Looks like Rock In Rio isn’t the only mega-fest having fans glued.  With a bill that features such top acts as Lady Gaga, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and more, it’s no surprise that the event (which sold out in 10 minutes) is the talk of the weekend.

Jennifer Hudson has seen herself in many-a-headline this week.  Aside from announcing the 3rd single to be lifted from her sophomore album ‘I Remember Me’, the songstress has been receiving quite the reviews from her depiction of famed South African activist Winnie Mandela in the new biopic ‘Winnie’.  The poster for the upcoming flick, seen above, was recently unveiled.

Expecting pop diva Beyonce has certainly been making her promo rounds for ‘Pulse’ – her latest fragrance.  Preceded by ‘Heat’ and ‘Heat Rush’, ‘Pulse’ has seen the pregnant pop star keeping up quite the busy schedule hitting Macy’s in New York and other venues in its support.
