Having thrilled fans over the years with their collaborative tunes ‘Dinero,’ ‘Big Paper,’ and ‘Wish Wish,’ rapper Cardi B and producer extraordinaire DJ Khaled have answered the wish wishes of their fans who have longed for a reunion effort between the hitmakers.

Their latest tag-team comes courtesy of ‘Higher Love‘ – the lead single from the forthcoming ‘Smurfs‘ soundtrack.

A star-studded single that also features contributions from Natania and Subhi, the chorus of the infectious tune comes as a nod to Belinda Carlisle‘s 1987 classic ‘Heaven Is a Place on Earth.’

“Ooh, baby, do you know what I’m worth? (Haha, woo) / I make Heaven a place on Earth (Let’s go; here we go, here we go) / I’m on top, yeah, baby, I come first (Uh-huh) / I make heaven a place on Earth (Haha, woo),” Cardi and Khaled croon over Trill’s production.

Ahead of the Rihanna-led film’s summer 2025 arrival to theaters, hop inside to get acquainted with the first song revealed from its official companion album.

Despite ending last year by scaring her dedicated fans (affectionately called #Selenators) with news she might be “done with music” to focus on acting, Selena Gomez has thankfully not kept her word.

Just a week after dropping the surprise single ‘Scared of Loving You‘ with fiance Benny Blanco, Gomez and boo return with its follow-up ‘Call Me When You Break Up.’

“Call me when you break up/ I want to be the first one on your mind when you wake up / I miss the way we’d stay up / We’d talk about forever while I’m taking off my makeup,” she sings on the breezy cut.

Tapping 2-time GRAMMY nominee Gracie Abrams to assist, the tune’s arrival to digital shelves was accompanied by its official music video on Thursday (February 20).
