Fresh from taking the net by storm last night with the video for ‘Whip My Hair’, budding diva Willow Smith dropped by BET’s 106 & Park to give the clip its TV premiere.

The 9 year old chatted it up with hosts Terrance and Rocsi about the single, the reaction, and much more. Let’s just say the segment ended with tears.

Dynamite performer Ciara stopped by BET’s 106 & Park a few hours ago. In a rather depthy interview, the 24 year old discussed her new LP ‘Basic Instinct’, its latest single ‘Gimmie Dat’, being displeased with ‘Fantasy Ride’s chart performance, and much more. The singer also had to verbally interject a fight which broke out in the audience.

Keyshia Cole has announced the official release date of her next studio album. The LP, tentatively titled ‘Keyshia’, hits stores on December 14th and is preceded by the lead single, ‘I Ain’t Thru (Ft. Nicki Minaj)’. Also contributing to the project is producer Pharrell who worked with Cole back in September.

The producers of the American Music Awards have decided to kick of this year’s show with a bang. Rihanna is set to open the 38th annual event which airs live via ABC from the Nokia Theatre at 8pm Est on November 21st.There is no word as to what the dentist drill vocalist will be performing but the opening artists usually do extended medleys of their greatest hits (see: Janet Jackson and Christina Aguilera).

Not to worry, those viewers who survive being subjected to Rihanna’s car alarm vocals (or do not change the channel in disgust) will be able to witness real talent later in the telecast when Usher, P!nk and Bon Jovi hit the stage. You have been warned.

The rapper reportedly broke the news in a press release today, stating that the media mogul did not give her the “guidance [that a] manager is supposed to give his client”, hence his dismissal and replacement with star-maker Benny Medina. Ms. Drama TV caught up with Eve at last week’s Hennessy Artistry Series event. During their interview the rapper/actress spoke about her new album, now entitled ‘Lip Lock’, which will be released in March 2011.
