For most folk, being sacked from a job would see them run a mile from any affiliation with the said company or brand. However, for Pop pretender Cheryl Cole, it’s quite the opposite.

The singer – who was sensationally axed from the X Factor USA earlier this year – was spotted rocking custom made X Factor tights when she arrived at Los Angeles’ LAX airport last night.

It’s little surprise that Cole wouldn’t want to dissolve her association with the show. After all, for 3 years straight, it was the only the thing which kept her joke of a career afloat. From the tabloid headlines, to the fast food albums she’d only serve up when the show was on, to the annual lip-synched performances she’d give, resulting in mega-sales. She rode the show for all it was worth, and isn’t looking to stop straddling anytime soon.

In any case, here’s hoping this is simply cheeky means of garnering attention, rather than a legit re-association to the show. For, both the UK and Stateside incarnations are doing just fine without her.

In her 15 years on the scene, Beyonce has undeniably established herself as Pop royalty. Naturally, then, it was only fitting that the singer gave a nod to the undisputed King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Advised not to travel due to her pregnancy, the 30 year old and her troop of dancers staged a tribute spectacle to the late, great great star, beaming it in to the Millenium Stadium at last night’s ‘Michael Forever’ show in Cardiff last night via satellite.

‘We Found Love’ pop starlet Rihanna is finding many interesting responses to the excerpts from her British Vogue interview.  The Bajan role model for young girls may have channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe for the cover, but the inside story saw Ms. Fenty channeling her inner potty mouth.

From the November issue that hits stands October 6th, the ‘SOS’ singer shares her views on the ups-and-downs of fame, unsolicited role model delegation, and that choice “C” word.  Proving, once again, that her talents extend far beyond just singing potty material, but speaking it as well:

With her recent slew of promotional appearances and nationwide trek winning over fans and critics at every stop, ‘Jumping Trains’ conductress Jojo is finding herself on the right track for a comeback.  Scheduled for an early 2012 release, the album, described by the singer as ‘pop with anger management problems’, has already treated fans to lead single ‘Disaster’.

But while fans await its accompanying visual, the title track from the album has made its way to the net.  The emotional mid-tempo number hears the belter sing – ‘I can’t just be your girl/I need to see the world/If that’s something you can’t arrange/I’ll be jumping trains’.

Is Ms. Levesque on the right track or is she headed in the wrong direction?  You decide after the jump:

Some days ago, comments allegedly made by media mogul Simon Cowell with regards to Pop Empress Beyonce and one time partner in crime Lady GaGa, spread like wildfire when he was reportedly quoted as saying ‘they were boring and based entirely on looks’.

Now the X Factor USA judge has set the record straight.

“Michael Jackson left the spirit of dance in Chris Grant” – Frank Gatson

For anyone else, such a billing would generate some discomfort. Yet for 23 year old Chris Grant, it’s not only a title he is humbled by, it’s one he’s keen to both embrace and honour.

A renown dancer and choreographer, the New York native has amassed a wealth of experience in his few years on the scene. Indeed, his choreography credits boast many a Beyonce stage-show, Jennifer Lopez‘s ‘On The Floor’ video, and most notably a spot on Michael Jackson’s ill-fated ‘This Is It’ concert.

With Grant eager to emerge from the shadows as an artist himself, That Grape Juice presents episode 2 of ‘Introducing…Chris Grant’.

And with it, this week, being announced that Grant will portray the King of Pop in a show-stopping solo dance tribute at next week’s ‘Michael Forever’ extravaganza, it’s apt that this edition sees him discuss what it was like working with MJ in his final days – and more.
