Hours before Super Bowl LV, Miley Cyrus delivered her own spectacle at her TikTok Tailgate concert.

The music superstar performed a 90-minute set that included some of her biggest hits (‘Wrecking Ball,’ Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,’ and ‘The Climb’) along with some of her new material from her ‘Plastic Hearts’ album (‘Angels Like You,’ ‘High’ and ‘Midnight Sky’).

However, the real show-stopping moments came when she brought out Billy Idol and to perform their collaboration, ‘Night Crawling’ along with Idol’s 1983 classic ‘White Wedding.’ 

That was not the end of the special guests either. Cyrus then brought out Punk icon Joann Jett to perform their collaboration, ‘Bad Karma’ and Jett’s ‘Bad Reputation’ and ‘I Hate Myself For Loving You.’

Jazmine Sullivan was busy pulling double-duty for the Super Bowl.

After the GRAMMY-nominee took the stage to perform the US National Anthem alongside Country music star Eric Church (as we reported here), she then took the stage at Verizon’s Concert for Small Businesses to perform her song ‘Pick Up Your Feelings.’ 

Sullivan appeared on stage adorned in a retro green and white dress along with a pair of white sunglasses. The singer then shouted-out two small businesses before launching into her performance.

‘Pick Up Your Feelings’ appeared on her most recent EP, ‘Heaux Tales,’ and notably became her first Billboard Hot 100 hit since 2010 (as we reported here).

Already a huge box office draw, the multi-dimensional talent has taken a more active role in ownership and the activation of change behind the camera by way of his production company Outlier Society.

Christina Aguilera has returned to the stage.

For, the singer appeared on Verizon’s Big Concert For Small Businesses to perform her 2002 smash ‘Beautiful’ along with her song ‘Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti’.

The stellar performance saw the vocal powerhouse put her talent on display in support of small businesses. Adorned in a blue jumpsuit and rocking her iconic platinum blonde hair, she soared across the songs.

The showcase paid tribute to a special record store from her childhood. Aguilera said:

“When I was little, my mom and my grandma used to take me to Attic Records in Pittsburgh, where we would spends hours sifting through old vinyls to find songs for me to sing and perform. It’s where my musical education was born and where I fell in love with the greats, that still inspired me today. It’s so important that we support small businesses like Attic Records during these trying times, we have to keep these hidden gems in our communities alive, love you grandma.”

Beyond the Big Game, the Super Bowl is renowned for being the year’s biggest commercial platform – with surprises now a common trend.

This year was no different, thanks to State Farm and Drake.

The rapper made an unannounced appearance in the insurance firm’s new TV spot – which aired during the match between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Drizzy flexes his acting muscles as…well…“Drake…from State Farm.”
