Helmed by Justin Simien, the show has explored issues of race, class, and sexuality against the backdrop of a college campus setting at the fictional Winchester University.

Since its debut as a series, the show – which stars the likes of  Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, Antoinette Robinson, and Deron Horton – has been showered with praise for its eagerness to ignite meaningful conversations.

September 22 brings with it the show’s final season and the streamer trumpeted the news with a high-octane teaser trailer. It touts the series’ last installment as:

“Both an Afro-futuristic and 90s-inspired musical event, Dear White People Vol. 4 is a can’t-miss, farewell experience with one pitch-perfect promise: sometimes the only way to move forward is to throw it back.”

Normani is making the promotional rounds in support of her new single ‘Wild Side’ featuring Cardi B.

And her latest stop was Genius. 

The fun-filled feature sees the rising star unpack the racy song’s lyrics.

Taking a verse-by-verse approach, the 25-year-old sings much of the song acapella, while sharing insights into the semantics of each line.

The appearance adds to a packed plate of promotion lined up for ‘Wild Side,’ which recently became her highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 to date.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are back with new music.

For, the pair has just released their music video for their song ‘I Get A Kick Out Of You.’

In the heartwarming clip, Mother Monster and the music legend are shown in the recording studio laying down their vocals. Each also has a big smile on their face.

‘I Get A Kick Out Of You’ is the lead single from Gaga and Bennett’s second collaborative album called ‘Love For Sale’ (as we reported here).

The album will serve as Bennett’s last project after it was announced he has Alzheimer’s Disease earlier this year.

The follow-up to ‘Cheek To Cheek’ will be released October 1.

Jessie J is speaking up and out after a surprising remark was aimed at her by Nicki Minaj. 

As reported, the femcee made a public objection to a comment J made about the creation of their 2014 smash ‘Bang Bang’ during an interview.

Minaj’s move shocked many, given that the British belter was in actuality praising her and expressing her joy at working with the rap royal on the song – which also featured Ariana Grande.

However, it’s clear Onika felt it imperative to set the record straight as relates to how she landed on the track.

Rita Ora is hot on the promotional trail for her latest single ‘You For Me.’

Case in point, the British songstress has just shared the acoustic version of the song, which removes the EDM production by Sigala and replaces it with a gentle piano throughout the song.

The latest incarnation of the tune comes mere weeks after she shared the official video for it (stream it here).

‘You For Me’ was announced in June and serves as the first new music from Ora since her ‘BANG’ EP earlier this year.

Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has made no secret of her support of the LGBTQ+ community over the years, but now she’s taking her allyship even further by using her platform to address the topic of homophobia in Hip Hop.
