Barely two weeks before his debut studio album, ‘Moon Boy,’ lands on shelves, rapper Yung Bleu has unveiled the hotly-anticipated music video for his latest single, ‘Baddest.’
Tapping serial Urban hitmakers Chris Brown and 2 Chainz to assist, the clip arrives as the latest in a string of warmly received cuts from Bleu (i.e. ‘Ghetto Love Birds,’ the Coi Leray-assisted ‘Thieves in Atlanta,’ ‘Don’t Lie To Me,’ and more).
The SWV-sampling ‘Baddest,’ however, easily comes as a standout.
“Sexy motherf*cker, you the baddest one, gave you all my love, that sh*it been addin’ up, we should get away somewhere and run it up, you tryna fall in love, need you to bring all of your friends and let’s f*ck it up,” he raps on the Hitmaka, OG Parker, Romano, and Mike Woods-produced bop.

It’s been over a week since global chart-toppers Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber rocked the 2021 Wango Tango, but their respective fan bases – #Sheerios and #Beliebers – are still buzzing over their sets.
For Sheeran, the visit came as one of many pit stops in the global push for his new single, ‘Bad Habits.’ Said promotional onslaught – which included a weeklong residency at ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ – clearly paid off as the tune debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Global 200 (as can be seen here).
For Bieber, the live ‘Wango’ appearance continues an aggressive year of promotion in support of his sixth studio album – ‘Justice’ – and will help ramp up excitement for his forthcoming North American tour of the same name.
Did you miss the Justin and Ed’s showings when they first aired? No worries; we’ve got you covered.
This week’s Hot 100 is “Doja Cat world” thanks to the rapper-singer’s new album, ‘Planet Her.’
Released June 25, the project – her third studio effort – was propelled to a #2 debut on the Billboard 200, powered by her personal best streams and digital downloads to date (as we reported here). The updated singles’ chart reveals that success wasn’t limited to the LP, however.
Charting 7 of the 12 songs found on the set’s original incarnation, two of the new arrivals landed in the top 40 – increasing her overall career count to 9 tunes to visit the chart region.
Janelle Monaé joins the likes of H.E.R., Andra Day, and other music stars who – through the new animated Netflix series ‘We the People’ – are lending their voices to encourage civic engagement among the youth.
A month after H.E.R. kicked off the show’s soundtrack with the release of her anthemic tune ‘Change’ (click here to listen), Monaé has followed with the equally inspiring ‘Stronger.’
“Even when we struggle and we get kicked down/We pick each other up with a little polish,” Monaé sings. “All of my friends want a legacy/Don’t wanna be left out/Every time you think we get a little weak/We get a little bit stronger.”

Weeks after dropping his track ‘Yonaguni,’ Latin hitmaker Bad Bunny is back with new music.
Without warning he has shared his latest track ‘De Museo.’ The trap track sees Bad Bunny get reflective about his life.
Across the track, he sings:
“Yeah, time goes by, goes by and doesn’t stop / I’m getting old and yesterday I was a baby, hey / The problems come and go, hey / With my God I am always thankful for everything I’ve accomplished and lived / For all the times I’ve cried and laughed.“
Bad Bunny was busy over the last year, releasing the albums: ‘YHLQMDLG,’ ‘Las Que No Iban a Salir,’ and ‘El Último Tour del Mundo.’
