Summer Walker waves the flag for R&B with the chart debut of her highly anticipated sophomore album, ‘Still Over It.’

The conceptual sequel to the R&B diva’s 2019 debut album, ‘Over It,’ the November 5-released, 20-song set featured SZA, Cardi B, Ciara, and many more and was not only greeted with massive critical acclaim but showed early signs of delivering some of the year’s biggest first-week sales numbers (as we reported here).

Missy Elliott has received many honors in her time, but today brought with it one of the most prestigious.

For, the rap pioneer and visual trailblazer is the latest name to be immortalized with a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

The feat, which follows Elliott’s induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, adds yet another jewel to the tapestry of the femcee’s legendary career.

Ciara, Lizzo, and Elliott’s longtime manager Mona Scott-Young were some of the names on-hand cheering her on.

Beyonce has expressed profound gratitude for the outpouring of love she received for her 40th birthday.

As reported, Queen Bey was tributed by fans worldwide as well as many of her peers – including Stevie Wonder, Ciara, Normani, Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Lil Nas X.

Now, she’s penned an open letter, in which she expands on her appreciation for the well-wishes she says made her “cry tears of joy.”

Brandy & Monica‘s 1998 hit, ‘The Boy is Mine,’ is credited as one of the most successful songs in Billboard history.

Though most widely celebrated for being the longest-running all-female #1 hit in the Hot 100’s 63-year history, the Rodney Jerkins-produced tune is actually the owner of several Billboard records.

Before this week, one of those titles was ‘longest-running all-female top 10’ hit.  Thanks to the ongoing success of Doja Cat & SZA‘s ‘Kiss Me More,’ however, that’s no longer the case.

Phylicia Rashad has spoken out anew after receiving blazing backlash for celebrating Bill Cosby‘s release from prison.

As reported, ‘The Cosby Show’ actor’s conviction for sexual assault was overturned due to what many deem a legal technicality. The 83-year-old was freed shortly after, ending his three year-stint in the slammer.

His on-screen wife Rashad came under fire after taking to Twitter to praise the controversial development. She wrote: “FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!”

Now, the 73-year-old actress has issued a new statement.
