The words captioned in the photo above are some of the last uttered by a Black Minnesota man – George Floyd – whose May 25 death at the hands of local police has caused outrage.

Though terminated from their positions at the police precinct (as we reported here), many – including celebrities the world over – are calling for men responsible to be arrested and charged for the incident.

Among the infuriated are Queen of Pop Madonna (as we reported here) and other influencers who are using their platforms to speak out against the social injustice.

Before joining the cast of ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘, Rasheeda stood tall as an influential fixture in Atlanta’s thriving Urban music scene and supported the careers of newcomers who would go on to become globally recognised household name (see Ciara‘s ‘Goodies‘).

Unfortunately, recent years have seen her contributions to her culture diminished and overlooked by a new generation of spectators who know her primarily as being the long-suffering wife of fellow ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ cast member Kirk Frost.

This week she was forced to defend her marriage on social media when one concerned fan quizzed her on the union.

Songbird K. Michelle has hatched ‘All Monsters Are Human’ – her fifth studio album.

Released independently via her own imprint No Color No Sound Records (in partnership with eOne), the set serves as K’s first indie offering and her first LP since 2017’s ‘Kimberly: The People I Used To Know.’

Comprised of 13 songs, the project is led by singles ‘Supahood’ and ‘The Rain’ – the latter of which has been faring especially well on the Urban Adult Contemporary format.

In true K form, the album boasts a number of quirkily titled cuts such as ‘Ciara’s Prayer’ and ‘Just Like Jay.’

Does the material itself deliver, though? We feel so. Take a listen below and let us know what you think…

Only right then, after almost two decades at the top, that the performer should take a well-deserved break.

Alas, her fans feel differently and have taken to social media to demand new music from the ‘Music of the Sun’ singer.

Selena Gomez‘s highly anticipated return to stage, a career-spanning showing from Taylor Swift, and commemorative performance from Toni Braxton were undoubtedly among the draws that lured viewers into this year’s Ciara-hosted American Music Awards.

Yet, not even their combined star power (alongside stage-blazing performances from chart-toppers Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Halsey, Lizzo, and more) were enough to save the 47th annual edition of the ceremony from its lowest ratings to date.

Welcome to the latest TGJ Roundtable!

Over the years, That Grape Juice has established a distinguished voice that – whether loved or loathed – sparks discussion, debate, and on occasion drama!

Now, we give you a front row seat to the show. In a format similar to ‘The View’ or ‘The Real’, TGJ editors – Sam, David, Rashad, and Joe – get real in a very candid way.

Today’s roundtable topic asks each anchor their thoughts on the…
