Undeterred.

That’s exactly what Pop phenom Lady GaGa appears to be following the so-so sales of latest album ‘ARTPOP’.

Though hailed for featuring some of the star’s best work yet (pours out a lil liquor for ‘Do What U Want’), the set was marred by departed management, a video-less second single, and a turn in the tide of public favor.

And yet, still, the singer is gearing up to share more from the ‘ART’ sessions. And “soon”.

Mariah Carey‘s new album may no longer be called ‘The Art Of Letting Go’, yet doing just that seems to be proving a difficult task for the diva.

For, despite being due on May 6th (a date we remain skeptical of), the LP is still being worked on – as revealed by Mimi herself on Instagram moments ago and over the course of this week.

The shot above was posted today with the caption “Prepping tracks for mixing”, while other snaps shared included a studio session with rapper Fabolous.

Granted we’re all for Mimi’s hustle, which appears to see her still recording tracks in search of a hit, it begs the question of whether the album will actually see the light of day next month. Deadlines are real and, for ‘major” releases such as this, are meant to be a significant amount of time before the project hits stores.

In any case, we remain amped to see what Mimi’s been cooking up. As evidenced by her ‘Emancipation’ era, “new” Mariah seems to deliver her best when the odds are stacked against her. That said, that aforementioned album came out nine years ago. Will it be a case of history repeating itself for the better or is Ms. Carey’s time as a contemporary chart-topper a wrap? Hopefully, it’s the former. Still, time will tell.

Take a listen to ‘You’re Mine (Eternal)’ below. It could do with the streams.

Though its label system has done a pretty good job of masking this fact, the UK rarely ever spawns homegrown hits.

Sure, while the ‘Official Charts’ may welcome the occasional Brit-bred track to its #1 spot, it’s often releases birthed by international acts that move truly impressive numbers, boasting longer tenure on the charts than performers who may nab impressive peaks but slip, trip and fall once their initial hype has died.

Fortunately for Rita Ora, she joins the likes of Adele, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sande and the now disbanded JLS to become one of a few acts to see their material sell well after their release weeks, earning certifications set to make her the envy of many a Brit based Pop belle.

‘We Fall Down’, ‘Speak To My Heart’, and ‘Stand’ are just a few of the gospel titles imparted over the last two decades that continue to stand the test of time.  Gospel legend Donnie McClurkin, the critically acclaimed creator of all three tunes, boasts mastery of that very same test.

With radio, television, and music all lining his decorative resume, the Grammy winner continues to conquer many-a-media format. Then, just when fans thought he had no new ground to claim, McClurkin revealed news of a ‘Duets’ album (in stores March 4th).

Now, speaking exclusively to That Grape Juice, Pastor Donnie dishes on the project (which features Dorinda Clark Cole, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett, Marvin Sapp, and more), the highly anticipated 7th season of BET’s ‘Sunday Best’, rumors of starting his own reality show, and so much more.

MVP and two-time basketball champion LeBron James  has found himself following in the soaring footsteps of the legendary Michael Jordan in many-a-way over his storied career.  However, if reports that surfaced today are to be believed, stepping onto the big screen isn’t one of them.

Indeed, the net was swarmed today with news that James signed on to star in ‘Space Jam 2’ – the sequel to Jordan’s commercially acclaimed, yet critically panned, children’s movie co-starring beloved Looney Tunes characters.

But, almost as soon as the story started to buzz, James’ camp cooled the news by slamming reports that the basketballer had the animated feature film in his sights.

One month after welcoming ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Donal Logue to its cast, FOX‘s forthcoming series ‘Gotham’ has welcomed Jada Pinkett Smith to its line up this year, enlisting the actress to serve as one its villains.

Based on DC characters from Bob Kane‘s ‘Batman’, the series will explore the genesis of Commissioner James Gordon, set to be introduced as a charismatic rookie detective living in a crime-ridden Gotham City.

Called on to portray sadistic thug ‘Fish Mooney‘, Jada‘s role will place her alongside ‘Blue Juice’ actor Sean Pertwee and ‘All Good Things’ actress Zabryna Guevara, who signed up to play Sarah Essen Gordon, first introduced in ‘Batman #405.’

Detailing Smith’s role in the series, Deadline shares:

Your thoughts?

Will Smith is undoubtedly one of the Hollywood’s most bankable stars.  However, what fans shouldn’t bank on, is seeing the Oscar-nominated beau in the sequel to his hit film ‘Independence Day’.

Indeed, the film – which has grossed nearly a billion dollars worldwide since its 1996 release – is being eyed for a redo by Fox, according to Deadline.  The blockbuster film won’t be, as of time reporting, seeing an appearance from Big Willie.

Via Deadline:

“…director Roland Emmerich and co-writer and producer Dean Devlin are going to have to take on those Earth-leveling aliens without Will Smith. I’m told reliably that Smith informed the studio that he won’t be joining in on a sequel that the filmmakers hope to have in theaters for July 4 weekend, 2016. That marks the 20th anniversary of the 1996 original that grossed $811 million worldwide…”.

Ashton Kutcher Visits ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ and Tells Charlie Sheen To “Shut the F— Up” (3:30)

It’s been no secret that since Hollywood heartthrob Ashton Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen on the hit series Two And A Half Men a few years ago that the veteran actor hasn’t exactly been pleased with the decision.

Constantly taking to Twitter to offer critiques or voice his disapproval of Kutcher’s performance, it seems the former ‘That 70s Show’ actor had enough and took to Kimmel to lend Sheen a word of advice (as seen above).

Once word reached Sheen, he offered an official apology…then threatened to hospitalize Kutcher for telli.

Now, reports have it that a rep for the former hit rapper hasn’t signed him up quite yet and won’t until the pitbull-lover gets a whiff of the contract figures…
