For as frontwards facing as Beyonce‘s success is, the superstar has often kept her personal life closely guarded.
Still, there are the rare occasions where she opens up and such was the case today.
Moments ago, Queen Bey lifted the lid on her 2020 – compiling a number of snaps that chronicle family life with children Blue Ivy, 8, and 3-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
Check out the snaps, which she’s titled ‘B At 38,’ below…
To kick off 2021, From The Vault journeys back to 2011. To a time when a very talented artist scored their very first international smash.
Today’s pick comes courtesy of Jessie J: it’s ‘Price Tag.’
The song was lifted from the British belter’s debut album ‘Who You Are’. It served as its second single in the UK and was issued as its launching single in the US.
Written by Jessie alongside Claude Kelly, it was produced by Dr. Luke and featured a guest verse from rapper B.o.B.
With its catchy chorus, hooks, and magnetic melodies, it was an international smash, debuting at #1 in the United Kingdom and reaching the top position in a total of nineteen countries including Ireland, France and New-Zealand. It was a moderate hit in the US, where it peaked at #23.

The song’s video was directed by Emil Nava. A whimsical yet simple affair, it shows the artist in various ensembles. Beginning behind an oversized teddy bear, the belle can be seen singing the tune under a money tree, as a ballerina inside a musical-box, or as a marionette. Guest rapper B.o.B. makes an appearance, surrounded by four toy army men.
Fun fact : alternative music favorite FKA Twigs is a back-up dancer in the video.
Beyond Jessie managing to “make the world dance” with this single, the release also served as a jumping point for her globally. Indeed, it introduced the masses to her unique style and laid the groundwork for many more great things ahead (see: ‘Domino’, ‘Bang Bang’).
With her incredible talent, we’ve always felt Jessie J’s star has the potential to shine even brighter. And with a new project on the horizon, we sincerely hope to see her finally get the (consistent) recognition we believe she deserves.
Anyhow, 10 years on, the song still bangs, and should remain our playlist for many more years to come.
Little Mix may be throwing ‘Confetti’ in the air this time next week. For, current single ‘Sweet Melody’ is strutting with purpose towards pole position on the Official UK Singles Chart.
Candiace Dillard is continuing to sound off about the latest season of the ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ and, this time, Porsha Williams is in her firing line.
The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ favorite hasn’t hidden her support for friend Monique Samuels following the latter’s on-screen fight with Dillard.
And it appears Williams recent vocalized backing of Samuels on Bravo new’s show Chat Room lit a match of fury within the Potomac polarizer.
Harry Styles kicked off the New Year by sharing the latest set of visuals for his song ‘Treat People With Kindness.’
The Ben and Gabe Turner-directed video features actress and comedian Phoebe Waller-Bridge of ‘Fleabag’ fame.
In the black-and-white clip, Styles is transformed into a bandstand-esque crooner as he performs the song for the crowd. He invites Waller-Bridge on stage to perform a jaunty dance number.
‘Treat People With Kindness’ serves as the sixth single from Styles’ No. 1 album, ‘Fine Line.’ The track follows the previously released ‘Lights Up,’ ‘Adore You,’ ‘Falling,’ ‘Watermelon Sugar,’ and ‘Golden.’
