Tory Lanez continues to proclaim his innocence in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting incident.
For, the rapper has taken to Instagram to respond to a comment about providing a clear answer as to if he shot the femcee or not, even though he has denied it on his latest album, ‘Daystar.’
For, the rapper has just earned the first all-Spanish-language album to top the Billboard 200 chart with his latest release, ‘El Ultimo Tour del Mundo.’
Cardi B‘s in her bag – literally and figuratively – after being called out for a tweet regarding the purchase of an $88,000 purse.
Taking to Twitter Sunday (December 6), the GRAMMY winner asked:
The inquiry incited backlash, many deeming the post ‘insensitive’ given the economic recession caused by the ongoing global health crisis.
As the heat from Cardi’s words only got hotter, the hitmaker hit back at critics for over 8 hours with a slew of ‘receipts’ demonstrating her philanthropy over the years.
Expect to see more of the ladies of Xscape in the coming months as they prepare for the release of their yet-titled, 2021-due last album.
As if sending fans into a frenzy last week with footage of them working in the studio (and teasing a #VERZUZ battle against SWV) wasn’t enough, the Atlantan quartet took to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to support hometown football heroes Atlanta Falcons as they took on the New Orleans Saints Sunday (December 6).
Delivering a jaw-dropping arrangement of the U.S. National Anthem, look inside to hear the ladies send a reminder of just how much they still have “it” and in abundance:
A decade ago, a red-headed Rihanna released her fifth studio album – the hit-filled ‘Loud.’
Its fiery first single ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ is today’s From The Vault pick.
Helmed by Norwegian production team Stargate and songwriter Cri$tyle, the song was a return to Dance-Pop for RiRi, after the darker and grittier sounds found on her previous album ‘Rated R.’
Lyrically, the song unpacks the desire to occupy every single thought of a love interest.
On the chart front, ‘Girl’ was a monumental global hit, reaching the top spot in many countries like the US, the UK, Canada and Australia to name a few.
Uniquely, the song topped the Hot 100 two weeks after follow-up single ‘What’s My Name?’ hit #1. This served as the first time in Billboard history that an album’s first single reached pole position after the second.
Rih’s then-frequent collaborator Anthony Mandler directed the track’s colorful visual. Throughout, the star is seen singing alone in vast unoccupied landscapes, surrounded by large balloons, laying on a bed of flowers, or on a swing descending from the skies.
Like the style of the song, the video served as a reset thematically after the moody visual identity of the diva’s previous project – which came on the heels of dark headlines (see: “the” assault).

As Rihanna continues to be in her bag in earnest with her endeavours outside of music, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t excited to see where she goes next as a Pop star.
With music (both sonics and industry) being quite different than when she last ruled the charts, it will be interesting to observe the sound and strategy she and her team will unleash.
And while answers to those questions are pending, it still looks like that Rihanna reign won’t be letting up any time soon.
Dr. Dre finds himself under fire yet again, this time from his estranged daughter.
With claims that the music mogul hasn’t been in contact with her for almost 20 years (nor offered any financial support), the 37-year-old says she’s had to take a job at FedEx to pay her bills.
