With her 2-disc album, ‘The Rarities,’ set for an October 2 release, look to see much of Mariah Carey on the promo trail in the coming weeks in its support.
Comprised of a collection of her favorite previously unreleased recordings, the project – which will house tunes from 1990-2020 – will invite fans to explore the diva’s archives of never-before-heard music (some of which has personal relevance that will be further explored in her forthcoming memoir, ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’).
One such track is the highly anticipated ‘Save The Day,’ which samples the iconic 1996 Fugees hit ‘Killing Me Softly.’
With her longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri credited as producer, look inside to hear the “new” song.
