Over 5 months after Christina Aguilera‘s ‘Loyal Brave True’ made its way to the masses (as we reported here), the song’s accompanying music video is finally set to premiere.

Released as the first promotional single from the upcoming live action remake of Disney’s ‘Mulan’ (click here to view the trailer), the film’s fate has been redirected multiple times due to the current global health crisis – a predicament that caused Xtina to pause on promoting the tune.

Last week, however, execs at Disney announced the inspiring flick would bypass movie theaters all together and head straight to Disney+.  Ahead of its September 4 premiere, Aguilera’s shifting the focus back to her single.

Sending her fans (affectionately known as #Fighters) into a frenzy earlier this week with news a surprise was coming August 14, Thursday (August 13) she revealed the gift would be the first full look at the tune’s music video.

Like many, Jason Derulo had high hopes for ‘Cats’ – not least because he starred in the film as Rum Tum Tugger.

However, what was intended to be a blockbuster ended up as a box office catastrophe.

The 2019 flick, which co-starred Taylor Swift and boasted a budget of over $100 million, bombed at the box office after generating just $75 million at the US box office. It also didn’t fare well internationally.

Much of the blowback centered on the poor CGI (which, in an unprecedented move, had to be updated post-release).

Months removed from the chaos, Derulo is reflecting on the film.

Serving as his first role, he explained that he thought the Tom Hooper production “was gonna change the world.”
