Nick Cannon found himself at the center a media storm this week when controversial comments made about race and Jewish lineage on a June podcast swam to the surface and went viral.

The fall-out – which included an initially defiant stance from the star – saw ViacomCBS sever ties with him. Seemingly taking away his ‘Wild N’ Out’ show in the process.

In a rapidly evolving series of events, Cannon demanded full ownership of the MTV show and levelled a number of accusations at the media giant. Only to shortly after issue a lengthy apology for his initial remarks.

The entire episode left many wondering what this could spell for the rest of his many ventures.

Well, FOX have confirmed that he will remain in place as host of ‘The Masked Singer.’

And now, the entities behind his freshly announced syndicated daytime talkshow, have echoed similar sentiments. Although, in recognising the severity of his present predicament, they’ve pushed its launch back.

Doja Cat continues to flex her versatility.

Earlier this month joining fellow femcees City Girls on their new tune, ‘P*ssy Talk’ (as we reported here), now the 24-year-old ‘Say So’ star is showing off her vocal prowess on rising U.K. Pop star Anne-Marie‘s latest joint, ‘To Be Young.’

An emo-anthemic ode to being youth, restlessness, and recklessness, the tune acts as the second single from Anne-Marie’s highly anticipated sophomore album (due later this year).

“Take a punch, get back up,” she sings in the chorus. “Act a fool, don’t give a f*ck. We’re all a mess, but then I guess this is what it feels like to be young.”

1984’s ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’ – the first and only Hot 100 #1 hit by Queen of Rock N Roll Tina Turner – is easily classified as her most iconic solo hit.

Yet, while remakes and remixes of musical treasures of its magnitude are often frowned upon, Norwegian producer Kygo – who recently thrilled fans with his updated take on late Pop icon Whitney Houston‘s ‘Higher Love’ – earned Turner’s stamp of approval when he revamped her timeless tune.

Released July 17, the sonic facelift keeps the diva’s vocals front and center but changes the vibe entirely by turning the R&B-tinged number into an island-inspired dance track.
