Bad news for ‘Good as Hell’ singer Lizzo.

Just a month after nabbing the ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ Grammy at the 2020 ceremony for her massive #1 hit, ‘Truth Hurts,’ the song is at the center of a plagiarism controversy.

Ignited last year when Liz (born Melissa Jefferson) took to the courts to combat rumors she failed to properly credit co-writers (click here to read more on that), murmurs around the topic had hushed until the defendants in that claim clapped back with a countersuit recently.

‘Say So’ seems to be just what the doctor ordered for rapstress Doja Cat.

Lifted from her sophomore album, ‘Hot Pink’ (2019), the funky tune – which sees the 24-year-old also flex her vocal chops – was already winning on streaming and digital outlets ahead of the arrival of its summery video last week.

Paired with rising popularity due to a flood of fan mashups alongside a few high profile promotional appearances (including a rocking performance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ on February 26), the combination is proving potent for Cat as the cut’s climb up the Billboard Hot 100 has been the most impressive of her career to date.

As if cranking out two top 10 hits in just two months from his latest effort, ‘Changes,’ wasn’t enough, Justin Bieber is looking to see more tunes from the LP mirror that Billboard glory.

Announcing the arrival of visuals for album cuts ‘All Around Me’ and ‘Habitual,’ the Grammy winner not only sent fans into a frenzy with the clips but also revealed more songs from the project would get similar treatment.

Taking to Instagram, Bieber stated:

“2 videos from the #changes album every Monday and Wednesday from the minds of some of my favorite choreographers and dancers. Thanks @nickdemoura @obb @sb_projects @defjam. Today #allaroundme and #habitual. Thank you to the entire dance community for always supporting us.”

Lady Gaga sent the Pop sphere into an excited spin yesterday when she officially announced ‘Chromatica’ – her sixth studio album.

Preceded by lead single ‘Stupid Love,’ the project has a confirmed released date of April 10th.

Yet, additional details surrounding the ‘Joanne’ follow-up have been kept under wraps. Sans the fact that its executive produced by Gaga and BloodPop.

Ray J and Princess Love‘s relationship woes have played out all sorts of publicly, on ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ as well as on social media.

Now, as the parents of two aim to repair the fractures, they’re bringing inviting the masses into said process by way of a new Zeus Network special.

The four-part series is named ‘The Conversation: Ray J & Princess Love’ and will see the pair sit down for a warts talk about their union.

After landing two top 40 hits on Billboard R&B charts with ‘The News’ and ‘Loyal’ (featuring Drake) – the first two singles from his forthcoming third studio album, ‘PARTYMOBILE’ – Canadian singer-songwriter-producer PARTYNEXTDOOR is hoping to keep the party going with yet another lift from the LP.

Titled ‘Split Decision,’ the recently released cut sees the 26-year-old plea with his love interest after she caught him being unfaithful.

“Just got back from a trip, caught me with another b*tch/I can see it in your face, you gotta make a split decision/Is it, is it worth it?/You won’t spare me any mercy…”

She may juggle many hats (see: morning TV show hostess, actress, philanthropist, etc.), but Keke Palmer still found time to give her loyal fans a musical fix last month courtesy of new tune ‘Virgo Tendencies’ (as we reported here).

Just a week later, she unveiled the music video for its follow-up – the TK Kravitz-assisted ‘Got Em Mad.’  Directed by Derek Blanks, the visual – set in a gentleman’s club – sees the ‘Hustlers’ star showing off the moves gleaned from that critically acclaimed, stripper-inspired film.

And, while we’re unsure on the details surrounding ‘Virgo Tendencies’ and ‘Got Em Mad’s parent album at the moment, what’s for sure is Palmer is playing no game in the promotion of her latest musical efforts.

With Trill and DJ Spinz at the helm of production, ‘No TV’ comes as the latest effort from Grammy-winning rapper 2 Chainz.
