Set to air tonight, ‘Making The Gift’ chronicles Queen Bey’s creative process piecing together her companion compilation for ‘The Lion King’ – which now stands as the 10th highest grossing movie of all-time.

Billed as sonic cinema and featuring African superstars such as Wizkid and Tiwa Savage, the set has been showered with praise by critics and has been touted as a strong Grammy contender.

Kanye West has taken America by storm with his slew of ‘Sunday Services’ across the nation.

Bringing his religious message to thousands across the nation, the Hip Hop hitmaker took to famed Atlanta megachurch, New Birth Missionary Baptist, on Sunday (September 15) to stir a few souls, remix a few R&B classics, and drop dibs on his highly anticipated new album, ‘Jesus is King.’

2019 gifts Jennifer Lopez yet another win.

After the successful third season of her hit NBC dance competition, ‘World of Dance,’ the multi-talented diva succeeded the television effort by jet-setting across America for her ‘It’s My Party’ tour (which ended on a $54 million high note).  Quickly following the Stateside jaunt with putting the finishing touches on her latest film, ‘Hustlers’ (also starring Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Keke PalmerCardi B, and more), Lopez spent the last month pounding the promo pavement in support of the flick’s September 13th arrival.

Now, with box office receipts counted the 5o-year-old superstar can rejoice at news her stripper-inspired film has danced circles around the competition and put her in first place among the weekend’s newcomers.

Fantasia is independent and loving it!

The Rock/Soul purveyor is gearing for the release of her new album ‘Sketchbook’ and has revealed she has a whole new perspective too.

Due for release on October 11th, the LP serves as her first as an indie act.

Stopping by The Breakfast Club, she waxed honest about the catalyst for her departing the major label system; that catalyst being her last studio album – a set she candidly branded as “garbage.”

With over 500 awards to her credit, Beyonce‘s name is scribbled in record books for being the second most awarded female artist in history (runner-up only to the legendary Whitney Houston).  But, her stride toward EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) status was dashed yet again over the weekend when her game-changing Netflix concert documentary, ‘Homecoming,’ went home empty-handed despite a whopping six nominations.

It may have been five years since Sam Smith rocked the charts with hits from their debut album, ‘In the Lonely Hour,’ but it appears the content from the LP is proving itself evergreen.

As they gear fans up for the release of their yet-titled, long-awaited third studio effort, the 27-year-old’s being greeted with news the tunes from their inaugural set – namely their first U.S. hit ‘Stay With Me’ – is showcasing serious staying power on streaming platforms.  Taking to social media, Smith recently celebrated news the tune – released spring 2014 – had crossed the billion plays threshold on Spotify.

After scoring a top 10 placement on the Hot 100 with their collabo, ‘Money in the Grave,’ rappers Rick Ross and Drake look to dig up another hit with their follow-up joint effort, ‘Gold Roses.’

The latter, found aboard Ross’ latest project – ‘Port of Miami II’ – has already made a splash on the Hot 100 from airplay, streaming, and sales alone.  Boasting a #39 peak (to date), the duo are looking to push ‘Roses’ to the success level of its predecessor (‘Grave’) by unveiling its official music video.
