Last night saw Hackney Picture House play host to the world premiere of Netflix’s ‘Top Boy.’ And Drake led the list of notable names in the house to celebrate its launch.

As reported, the Hip-Hop titan signed on as executive producer of the streamer’s gritty re-imagining of the hit British series. One which reunites the show’s key players such as Ashley Walters and Kano, while infusing elements of the new too (see: addition of Dave, Little Simz, and the like).

Set to hit the big N on September 13th, check out pics from its kick off event below…

Kevin Hart may be expected to make a full recovery from the slew of physical injuries obtained after being involved in a major car crash last weekend (click here to read), his reputation on the other hand – namely among LGBT fans – may not be so fortunate.

The comedian certainly wasn’t generating any laughs when he took to HBO Sports’ series, ‘The Shop: Uninterrupted,’ alongside a star-studded group of guests that included chart-topping rapper/singer Lil Nas X.  In the episode – set to air in full Thursday night (September 5) – LNX discusses what inspired him to come out as a gay man at the height of his short, but storied career.

Hart’s insensitive questioning, interruptions during the 20-year-old’s speech, and downplaying the importance of the ‘Old Town Road’ star’s life event has incited fury among his supporters.  Taking to Twitter in droves to voice their disapproval, look inside to see highlights of the responses:

Just a month ago we reported Beyonce, thanks to the gems found aboard her curated ‘Lion King’ soundtrack effort, ‘The Gift,’ pushed her career total Billboard Hot 100 appearances up from 78 to 81.  The accomplishment broke a then-standing tie with Taylor Swift for the second-most placements on the tally (only Nicki Minaj has more).

Now, courtesy of the tunes found aboard her latest chart-topping album, ‘Lover’ (released August 23), Swift has re-assumed her position behind Minaj.  Billboard reports:

“While three songs [from Swift’s ‘Lover’ album] continue their chart runs and one re-enters, 14 debut, pushing her total to 95 career entries.”

Congratulations are due to Taylor!  While she ranks second to the Harajuku Barbie’s impressive 104 entries, her 95 career placements pencil her in history books as the female vocalist with the most appearances on the tally.

Just days after the diva took to social media to call out fans of Travis Scott for slamming her 2019 Grammy win for ‘Best Rap Album’ (click here to read more on that), the ‘I Like It’ diva didn’t like news that she was embroiled in yet another drama – this time with suburban pre-teen Rap group ZN8tion.
