Singer, songwriter, reality star, and entrepreneur, Kandi Burrus certainly wears many hats.

Indeed, in more recent years The Real Housewives of Atlanta staple has had her hands in a number of pots – stirring them all with equal ferocity.

It appears, though, that the Grammy winning ‘No Scrubs’ writer is refocussing on her musical efforts.

This week saw Burruss debut a snippet of new song ‘Let Them Love’. For fans of ‘Housewives’, the cut very much plays into Kandi’s current “storyline” on the show (see: Todd, Mama Joyce) – a fact which us wondering if this is smart or tacky.

In any case, set for release on January 21st (via her own imprint, Kandi Koated Entertainment), you can get a taste of what the talented star is serving up below.

As far as R&B goes, Miguel’s arrival has come as nothing of a God-send.

Fact not opinion. For, with a vocal prowess few are able to match and material that’s now seen him sought after by the likes of Beyonce and Mariah Carey, Miguel has gone a long way to prove that his genre is-contrary to public opinion-anything but dead.

Fortunately for the star, his recent contributions to music haven’t gone unnoticed and have earned him a brand new manager set to take him above and beyond the realm he currently resides in.

Danny Noriega, top 10 finalist on season 7 of hit reality singing competition ‘American Idol’, is set to re-enter the realm of reality show competitions with a spot on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ in the upcoming season.  Full story below:

Via THR:

The 24-year old season 7 vocalist will unveil his alter-ego, Adore Delano, when the drag queen competition returns for its sixth season in February.  Noriega developed Delano’s personae and look-which features a fierce pink wig- after seeing his first drag shows in 2008.

Noriega said that he is looking forward to being able to wear makeup and do everything he was not permitted to do during his run on Idol.

‘The experience was amazing and I’m forever grateful for it, but I feel like I wasn’t allowed to go as far as I wanted to. There was just certain makeup that I wanted to wear and certain songs that I wanted to sing that I wasn’t allowed to,” he said. “I really don’t want to trash-talk the show, but I just wasn’t allowed to be as ‘out there’ as I wanted to be. I was actually told to calm it down.'”

“I was getting pulled in so many different directions — I don’t want to bad-talk anything, but a lot of us weren’t getting a lot of opportunities that we were supposed to be getting; let’s just put it that way. I was just an 18-year-old thinking he’s on top of the world,” he said. “That kind of thing, and I just kind of fell flat. I wasn’t a businessperson. I feel like this time around, given an opportunity like this, especially with something I’m so passionate about, is a blessing.
