Just days after reigniting beef with singer Miley Cyrus by referring to the ‘Wrecking Ball’ beauty as ‘Perdue chicken’ (click here to read more), Nicki Minaj grabbed headlines today for beefing with popular fast food chain Wendy’s over their chicken.

Taking to their official Twitter page, Wendy’s announced the return of their spicy chicken nuggets – much to the delight of their followers.  But, while some readied their coins in anticipation for the nuggets’ August 19th comeback, Minaj took to Twitter to hit the chain with criticism.

The promo trail is about to be blazed with the heels of rapstress Iggy Azalea as she hits TV, print, radio, Web, and more in support of her long-awaited sophomore album, ‘In My Defense.’

Surprising fans on Monday (June 24) with its official cover art and tracklist (click here to see), the 29-year-old saw her recently taped visit to the ‘RuPaul’ talk show to dish on the July 19-due LP lifted to the daytime series’ official Youtube site.  There, Azalea dished on her drama with former label, Def Jam, battling depression, the delay between her debut and sophomore album, and waxed honest about her plastic surgery.

Just 24 hours ahead of the premiere of the music video for her new single, ‘Press,’ rapstress Cardi B found herself nabbing undesired press for her reported involvement in an August 2018 brawl at a strip club.

As we reported here, the Grammy winner was recently hit with charges that included felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious physical injury, misdemeanor reckless endangerment, assault, criminal solicitation, conspiracy and harassment.

Donning blue hair and a navy pantsuit, the rapstress – fresh from a historic win at the BET Awards (click here to read) – took to a New York court on Tuesday (June 25) to officially render her plea.

Madonna‘s 14th studio album – ‘Madame X’ – may have been greeted with great anticipation upon its initial announcement in April, but that excitement only waned as material from the project was unveiled.

Despite all five of the singles lifted from the set failing to impact the Hot 100 ahead of its June 14 arrival (her first studio album to lay claim to such), Madge pressed forward with its release and promotion.  Visiting major television and radio outlets around the world to build awareness, ‘X’ jumped to #1 on iTunes in over 60 countries (including the U.S.) just hours after its release.

Pharrell Williams is bringing his musical gravitas to ‘The Lion King.’

This week saw the lid lifted on details surrounding the soundtrack for Disney‘s live-action remake of the 1994 classic.

And while it brought insights into the roles the likes of Beyonce, Donald Glover, and Elton John will have musically in the movie, it’s now been revealed that Williams is on-board too.
