Beyonce brought the heat to Britain’s capital over the weekend at the European premiere of ‘The Lion King.’ And now she’s showcasing more of her London drip.

Glowing gold, Queen Bey posed it up with the iconic London Eye in the backdrop and served like only she can.

The snaps, which she shared from her collection, arrive as the world gears up to see her star as Nala in Disney‘s live-action remake of ‘The Lion King’ on July 19th.

That Grape Juice was on-hand for the Leicester Square unveiling of the film — and it was breathtaking! Visually stunning with top-tier performances from all, it’s unmissable.

Also a must for Mrs Carter fans is her upcoming compilation ‘The Lion King: The Gift.’ Due on Friday, the multi-artist project is billed by Bey as being a “love letter to Africa,” with “sonic cinema” sounds inspired by the film. As we type, there’s ample discussion about who she’s assembled to join her on the set.

Albeit no stranger to controversy, the past few years have seen more than one incident of Queen of Pop Madonna facing backlash for racial insensitivity.

4 years after apologizing for calling her White son the ‘n-word’ as a ‘term of endearment,’ the #Beyhive dragged the aging diva for ‘innocently’ referring to herself as Jay Z and Beyonce‘s ‘master’ (click here to read more). Now, as she continues preparation for the launch of her highly anticipated ‘Madame X’ tour, the ‘Sorry’ singer will soon have to wield an apology for lifting a picture to Instagram that’s outraged many of her fans.

Hate her or love her, what you certainly can’t do is deny her.

Houston born hottie Megan Thee Stallion has been riding high on a wave of success for most of the year, a feat underscored by the critical acclaim that’s accompanied her latest project, ‘Fever.’  To ensure such good tiding doesn’t slow any time soon, the 24-year-old’s tapped legendary music video director Hype Williams to helm her new musical film, ‘Fever:  Thee Movie.’

Featuring appearances from the likes of DaBaby, Juicy J, and more, the soon-to-come flick borrows elements of 70’s ‘Blaxploitation’ flicks and appears to draw inspiration from the likes of Quentin Tarantino (a la ‘Kill Bill’).  See the teaser inside: (more…)

Despite attempts from some of Pop’s heaviest hitters including Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and more, the past 15 weeks have seen all of them fail to unseat newcomer Lil Nas X‘s inaugural hit, ‘Old Town Road,’ from the Billboard Hot 100’s throne.

Galloping to the top of the charts on the back of historic streaming figures, the song’s initial popularity may have (arguably) been the result of controversy, but long after that news faded its enduring success can simply be attributed to monster radio airplay, digital downloads, and streaming of its original mix and various remixes.

Earning its 15th consecutive run atop the tally this week, the feat comes with news ‘Road’ is now in history books as the longest running chart-topping debut single ever (leaving the 14 week record of Los Del Rio‘s ‘Macarena’ in its rear view).  As if that’s not enough, the 20-year-old is just 1 week shy of tying the chart’s all time record.

Coming as little to surprise everyone, Ed Sheeran‘s newest album – ‘No. 6 Collaborations Project’ – is projected to be next week’s Billboard 200 champion (as we reported here).

Featuring a slew of today’s biggest musical movers and shakers (including Cardi B, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, and many more), the July 12-released set has already seen a number of its gems accompanied by music video.  Now, it’s adding the Travis Scott-assisted ‘Antisocial’ to that number.

With a video helmed by Dave Meyers, the duo travel through time to land on the sets of some of Hollywood’s classic films.  Look inside to see if you recognize any of the scenery:

How he feels about straight men playing gay characters?

Being black and gay and out came with a lot of unemployment. It’s a double layer, the layer of being a person of color in this industry then the layer of being a queen. Nobody can see you as anything else. If “flamboyant” wasn’t in the description of the character, no one would see me, ever, for anything,
