If folk thought Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj‘s beef was coming off the cooker anytime soon – think again.
Last night the ladies performed at Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash and ensured to bash each other during and after the event.
Taking to Instagram Live following her performance (during which she threw shots at her rival), Remy poked fun at Onika again. She heavily implied that the leader of the Barbz had influenced odd security measures to ensure she and Remy never crossed paths.
“And then she came on stage and the crowd started rapping her tracks against me. I mean she tryna stop my bag again. Time to go live on IG” pic.twitter.com/EaVzPca6dl
To keep it 100, the ladies are doing just as much as the other to keep the flames of fury ablaze.
It certainly makes for an entertaining watch. Although, we are scratching our heads as to whether there’s a winner. Because everyone is coming across petty.
Jay Z made history tonight when he became the first rapper ever inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
Interestingly, the media mogul was not in attendance at the taping of the event (fuelling rumors about the birth of he and Beyonce‘s twins), however he did take to social media to salute all who’ve inspired him.
Renown for shunning social media, Jigga definitely made his rare appearance resonate.

After touching down in Toronto, Houston, Detroit, Atlanta, New York, and many other places during “Phase One’ of his extensive ‘Starboy: Legend of the Fall’ World Tour, June 9th saw The Weeknd wrap up the first leg of the trek in Cincinnati, Ohio’s US Bank Center.
But, before fans in other parts of the globe fret, the crooner has announced a short summer break before hitting the road again for a reboot of his critically acclaimed tour. Bringing along rapper Gucci Mane for the ride, the superstar’s second leg will touch down in major North American cities like Chicago, Nashville, Las Vegas, Boston, and more before heading over to locations in New Zealand and Australia.
Curious to know if the self-proclaimed “Starboy” will be lighting up a stage near you? See the dates below to find out:
Lady Gaga is consistently using her platform to promote good deeds and, for her latest, she’s teamed up with Starbucks.
The 31-year-old and her Born This Way Foundation have paired up with the omnipresent coffee chain to spread the simple message of kindness.
Christened the ‘Cups of Kindness’ campaign, its goal is to raise funds for youth programs that advocate kindness, create positive environments, and offer mental health resources.
Speaking on the partnership, Mother Monster said in a statement:
“We’re healthier and happier when we live our lives with compassion and our communities are stronger when we treat one another with generosity and respect. Born This Way Foundation and I are so excited to partner with Starbucks to help inspire positivity and love through the Cups of Kindness collection.”
So how will it work?
Well, Starbucks will donate $0.25 cents from every ‘Cups of Kindness’ drink sold at participating stores in North America from today (June 13th) through to June 19th.
*************
Major props to Gaga for her continued desire to do good.
What started as a simple single [‘Born This Way’] has matured into a movement. Indeed, the Foundation has been notable for its activity in the LGBT, youth and mental health arenas.
Following multiple Grammy wins and unforgettable Oscar glory, last night brought with it a Tony award win for the performer!
What for? His role as co-producer of the Broadway show JITNEY which now means he stands only an Emmy away from bagging all four major American entertainment awards!

Joseline Hernandez has never been one to hide her feelings, as such it was only a matter of time before her beef with ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ creator Mona Scott Young became public knowledge.
It’s anyone’s guess what specifically led to the fall-out, but the outspoken reality took to Instagram in the midnight hour to announce that she had quit the Atlanta branch of the controversial VH1 franchise:
A post shared by Management:JoselineHernandez (@joseline) on
The move comes after Hernandez spent several days goading Young online and pushing for a sit-down with Oprah (yes, you read right) to settle their (financial?) differences:

Yikes.
‘Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ has – and continues to be – built on the foundation of the Joseline/Stevie/Mimi dynamic. So, it does beg the question of what will happen moving forward.
Word on the curb is that a lot of the cast have refused to tape with Jos this season (after multiple fall-outs), something viewers have both noticed and complained about.
Should she indeed be “done,” where does it leave the show more broadly? Are the remaining cast strong enough to command high viewership?
What’s more, is Joseline’s established enough to go it alone? She has proven popular guest-hosting on ‘The Real,’ but public meltdowns such as this are hardly likely to make her an enticing prospect to networks that are traditionally more conservative.
While things haven’t exactly gotten nasty (yet) between pop icon Janet Jackson and soon-to-be-ex-husband Wissam Al Mana, the diva is reportedly in talks with Netflix to do a documentary series about her life as a newly single woman, new mother, and so much more.
Jackson, the fiercely private performer who’s been fairly mum since the separation announcement (other than her short, but telling video announcing the reboot of her postponed tour and confirming the separation rumors), will reportedly also use the streaming special as a vehicle to push new music.
“The show will run as a ten-part documentary and will feature recording sessions in the studio, co-parenting her child with Wissam and preparing for the European and Asian legs of her tour. Netflix [is] negotiating a big sum for the rights to the show as they expect it to perform well…”
Funnyman Kevin Hart has a lot to smile about these days.
When not selling out arenas and stadiums on tours across the nation, the comic is packing cinemas to view his blockbuster comedies. Now, with all that terrain covered, Hart is traipsing new territory: authorship.
With his memoirs, ‘I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons,’due to hit shelves later this year, Kev is already taking to the media to dish on its content, share his excitement about expecting his first child with wife Eniko Parrish, and so much more. Look below to hear him talk about this and more:
Welcome to Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature launched to unearth some of entertainment’s most surprising moments!
Today, we take a journey to 2009. In that year, after doing his part to elevate Lady GaGa‘s young career to higher ground, Perez Hilton found a fresh enemy in the Black Eyed Peas.
One night, after learning of remarks Hilton had made about the group, its lead vocalists Will.i.am and Fergie approached him and asked him to stop writing about them.
This, much to everyone’s horror, is where things took a turn for the worst.
As the masses try to process the shocking terrorist attack that took place at Ariana Grande‘s Manchester concert last night, so too are the singer’s industry peers.
In a huge outpouring of support, names from the realms of music and film have taken to social media to collectively voice their grief at the bombing which left 19 dead and 59 injured.
Their words below…
#Manchester has always been so close to my heart! These are innocent vulnerable kids, this could’ve been any of us! I’m devastated!

Keen to push her forthcoming album ‘Witness’ and its parent tour, the vocalist made her way to the Ellen DeGeneres show to bare “all” on her new era.
Seemingly unaffected by the wave of negative press she has received of late, the fun-loving Pop princess discussed her forthcoming role on ‘American Idol’ and why she took four years away from the public eye.
