Madonna fans may have been very impressed by the Pop icon’s lengthy feature in the most recent ‘New York Times’ magazine, but the ‘Express Yourself’ diva wasted no time expressing her disappointment in it.

As we reported here, she not only likened the experience to ‘rape’ but also asserted the interviewer – Vanessa Grigoriadis – perpetuated sexist and ageist stereotypes by overlooking better content gleaned from their interaction in favor of focusing on her age.

Well, once the diva’s response made its rounds on the net it eventually landed on the desk of the publication.  See their cheeky response inside:

Beyonce sprung a surprise on longtime friend and collaborator Melina Matsoukas last night at the AFI Lifetime celebration for Denzel Washington.

Queen Bey presented the director with the Franklin J. Schaffner Alumni Medal at the glitzy ceremony.

Her appearance, while unannounced and a shock for Matsoukas, was especially apt.

The pair have been working together since 2006 and have amassed quite the videography together – with one of their more recent outings being the widely praised ‘Formation’ visual.

Only six months separate fans of Future from his latest effort, January’s chart-topping ‘The WIZRD,’ but that hasn’t stopped the 35-year-old from seeing if he can sprinkle a bit more magic on the summer’s Billboard 200.

Announced just this week (as we reported here), his new project – the ‘Save Me’ – is a 7-song EP that’s been described as “his most vulnerable, visual, and vital statement yet” and stands as a feature-less affair.

The rumor mill swirled no shortage of reports that ‘Jealous’ star DJ Khaled was incensed at news his latest album, ‘Father of Asahd,’ failed to nab the top spot of the Billboard 200 (unlike its predecessors – 2016’s ‘Major Key’ and 2017’s ‘Grateful’ respectively).

Like we reported here, ‘Asahd’ – despite its guest list of heavy hitters and padding its first week sales with a merchandise bundle – still came in second place to Tyler, the Creator‘s critically acclaimed album, ‘IGOR.’  The upset was all the more shocking as the latter set had no Billboard Hot 100 top 40 singles to precede its arrival, unlike that of Khaled’s.

Our friends at Page Six first broke the story that Khaled was “fuming” at his label, Epic Records, after losing out to Tyler and reportedly was “yelling” and throwing a “temper tantrum.” Later, the 43-year-old uploaded a video (that’s now deleted) that may not confirm his tantrum at Epic, but at least suggests he felt some kinda way about Tyler’s triumph.

Madonna‘s shedding light on ‘Dark Ballet’ – the fifth and final buzz track ahead of the June 14th release of her new studio album, ‘Madame X.’

Preceded by eclectic album cuts ‘Medellin,’ ‘I Rise,’ ‘Crave,’ and ‘Future,’  ‘Dark’ – which will see its accompanying visual unearthed tomorrow (June 7th) – continues the pattern of musical diversity by sounding nothing like its forerunners.  The question at hand, however, is if it will continue its predecessors patterns of failing to make major impacts on the Billboard Hot 100.

In a bid to avoid the latter, the Queen of Pop has already begun previewing the song’s haunting video highlighted by religious iconography, implications of persecution, and more.  Curious to see how Madge is looking to seduce fans next?  The answer awaits inside:

With all roads leading to the June 7th release of his new studio album, ‘Legendary,’ rapper Tyga continues to pull out the stops to ensure its purchase is atop his fans “to do” list.

Having already impacted rap charts with other gems from the set including ‘G*ddamn,’ ‘Girls Have Fun’ (featuring G-Eazy & Rich the Kid), and more, the 29-year-old most recently unveiled his latest link up with longtime collaborator Chris Brown.

Titled ‘Haute,’ the Latin-flavored tune also calls on help from Colombian music star J. Balvin and sees its accompanying music video live up to its titling in more ways than one.
