The once shelved Aretha Franklin documentary, ‘Amazing Grace,’ has scored a nationwide release date.

Showcasing the stunning vocal prowess of the then-29-year-old songstress recording her legendary ‘Amazing Grace’ gospel album, the original footage was helmed by director Sydney Pollack at the New Bethel Baptist Church in Watts, Calif., in 1972.

Now, after over three decades of “technicalities” stalling its release, the documentary is ready for unveiling as its new, “must see” trailer illustrates.  Look below to see the magic ahead of the film’s premiere in theaters on April 5:

A Chicago grand jury sent shock waves through the entertainment industry hours ago when it was announced actor/singer Jussie Smollett – originally indicted on just one felony count of disorderly conduct for filing a false police report by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office (as we reported here) – had seen that count upped to 16!

Despite scoring a string of hits in the late noughties and early 2010’s (including the #1 single ‘Down’ in 2009′), Jay Sean has been relatively quiet over the past few years – most notably after nabbing headlines for suing former label home, Cash Money, for unpaid royalties..  Now, despite years of touring and remaining an international force, five years have separated U.S. fans from new music from the singer/songwriter.

That’s all ready to change with the 37-year-old’s new Gucci Mane-assisted single, “With You.” Featuring a prominent sample of female R&B group Blaque’s 1999 hit, “808,” Sean croons:

“I’m saying yeah / I just can’t get my mind off you / After the sh*t that we’ve been through / I just can’t stop f*cking with you.”

Is it enough to get Jay back to the top of charts?  Listen inside and tell us:
